i ordered my first " Real" snus order from Getsnus today, only for them to say something is backordered. Even though the site said In stock. :cry:

Guess I'm stuck with Camel Frost for a little bit longer...

Anyway, I am enjoying the forums so far and learning allot.

Getsnus is usually pretty good at taking care of things and shipping promptly. Did you drop them a note? Another FAST vendor to consider in the USA is clubsnus. Not sure what you ordered?

Oh, and Welcome.

PS: Check Northerner to and look for the American flag next to the given snus. That means it is avail also in the PA warehouse and should get to you fairly fast.

Well from what I have read its supposed to be heaven on earth!!!!!!

Hehe what I understand from my reading is it might take a little bit to get used to the new taste, more salty than camel, probably higher in nicotine content...

What I ordered was the General White Potion sample package, a couple of discreet flavors and General Mint white portion.
The sample pack was outa stock... but they are shipping everything else today.

The General White will be the closest ting to real snus, mini mint is an unusually sweet Swedish snus. And the Discreet is another American, far better than Camel, but also completely different than Swedish snus.

Yes. expect about a two week transition from Camel. the salt is so overwhelming at first, your body has acclimated, that is usually all folks taste at first. But over a week to two weeks, your body will acclimate to the salt and you will begin to taste the snus as it really is.


Let us know how it is going when ou get the General White. BTW, Clubsnus can get you snus within two days no matter where you live in the US. So if you are eager, another option to pick up a few cans.

Welcome! Definitely keep us posted on that first try (even if its not 'heaven on earth' right away). It is by far superior to camel. I think your choice on starter where great those are my faves right now. I really think that the general original will stick in my rotation. I use discreet quiet a bit at the office, although a whore, I'm not a nicotine whore lol, and the small amount of nicotine and the great smell and tasteare just right for during the day, except when I need a kick and use thunder. The general mini mints give me that sweetness that I liked from camel but again, far-far superior.best of luck with your tastings, and agai, keep us posted. 'Til then...xoxo

Gummybear, welcome to the site and take the time to read the threads, there is ALOT of info here that will answer most of your questions. How do I know, because we all have/had the same questions. If you do have one however, just ask...we'll answer.
