New Use Advice Wanted-I ordered some Snus :-)

Hi, I'm a newbie here, too.

Nothing wrong with your selection, as our snus elders have pointed out, but I took more of a shotgun approach. I ordered quite a few cans, but only a single can of each brand. The only exception was General Mint -- I ordered 3 cans of it because I already know I like it. My thinking is that I'll try a lot of different snuses, and find out which ones I like. Then I can order several cans or even a roll of the winners. For the brands I don't like, I'm only stuck with 1 can apiece of them. I'll keep those in the freezer for a while, to see if my tastes change. If I still don't like them after say, 6 months or more, I should be able to trade them away or contribute them to a box pass.

That is a good approach. I would even slow it down a bit more. I ordered a roll very early on and had it turn on me 3 cans in. As you indicated your taste will change especially early on. I would hold off on rolls for a bit longer. Maybe get 3 or so cans of the brands you like and a few cans of others that you have not tried. I'd do this for a couple of orders then start thinking about a roll.

Then again we have folks here who found true love in their first can and have never looked back. But they are a rare breed

Actually, I hadn't really planned on buying a whole roll anytime soon, that's why I said "or even a roll". I try to err on the side of caution whenever possible. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear.

Well, I purchased 10 assorted cans of Skruf Stark, Xtra Start and General Portion and I have used over 2 and a half cans of General,
2 cans of Skruf Stark and about half a can of Skruf Xtra Stark. I have no complaints. 10 days without a single cigarette. I didn't plan
it this way.
