    Hello from NEPA

    Hello all,

Wanted to introduce myself and thank everyone for the wealth of knowledge contained in the forums. I've been lurking around for 2 weeks and finally joined. LX's posts have been pretty helpful so keep up the good work.

Found this site as a result of some searching after the 60 minutes story. Coincidentally my quit smoking date was the day after - April 5th so the timing was ideal. Tried some American snus but it was crap, moved onto Sweedish and even los (which is great). The snus has helped big time with quitting smokes, 2 weeks so far and not a cigarette. I won't be looking back.

    Looking forward to contributing.

Yes the wheezing and associated bullshit that comes with cig smoking has subsided after only 2 weeks. I think after a little while longer I might be up for running, cardio etc. Starting P90X tomorrow so we shall see...

          Welcome to SnusOn tman!

I didn't notice a dramatic change when I quit smoking, but after awhile I noticed I wasn't hacking up a lung some mornings. My sense of smell slowly got better too. That's a mixed blessing :^D

In any case, snus is great. It's fun trying all the different types, so enjoy the adventure :^)

Ya mixed blessing no doubt. Ordered a sh** load of different portions as well as a roll of general wintergreen because I ran out of that and never want that to happen again. Only thing is I wish I ordered some los as well. I have a few cans of general los and will be trying other brands for my next order. Any must tries in los?

Really all of them :^D lös is always different from portions, sometimes by a pretty large amount. Here's what I'd consider my must tries though...

              Gotland Yellow

              Gotland Grey(if you like licorice/anis)

Landströms/Gellivare Really unique. You may or may not like it, but it's a must try. This is probably what snus was like in the 19th century.

              Ettan

              Grov
