Howdy! New to here, but coming back to Snus

Hey there... Greetings and Salutations!

As I'm sure everyone says, I am really enjoying this forum. I am definately not a forum guy, but I find myself pouring over posts here at work for most of my day. I placed my first order with Northener, based on everyone's recommendations with the new PACT act. I was ordering through snuscentral, and I also have to agree that the prices were much better, but wanted to go with northerner for the firwt order to make sure that it got here. now I have a supply, I'll experiment with snuscentral again, and see if it makes it through customs. So, since everyone else is posting what they bought, I'll do the same. I picked up the top 10 portion pack, as well as 3 cans of my favorite so far, General Onyx. they also gave me 2 free cans of the 02 stuff... not sure what it's called, just has the big 02 on the can, so we'll see. anyways, glad to be here, and hopefully I can offer another view for everyone here.

Hey Zombish, welcome aboard. This is the only forum I really hang around, but I'm sort of addicted, I guess. I think it's a great forum. Probably the fact that I love snus so much doesn't hurt.

02 is 02, although it's part of the "Lab Series" (along with 01). I don't see ppl refer to that much, though.

That looks like a great order and should give you a good idea of what is out there in the world of snus.

I really like the Onyx as well (for what it is worth Nick and Johnny Black seems to be a tad bit more subdued version of the same thing)

Never has the 02 but it is supposed to be drip free (not sure if that is altogether a good thing)

Anyway give it a try and let us know what you think

Well, I haven't tried anything yet.... UPS dropped them off after I left for work, so, the goodies are waiting for me when I get home... So, here's a questions for all of you... I know that most people migrate to a non-flavored type of snus, and I enjoy those, as well, but I am interested to know if there are other flavored ones out there, other than varities of mint, or the cinnamon one I Tried (shudder... sorry if I offend but the Oden's stark cinnamon was HORRID). Also, easier to assimilate my fellow smoking co-workers with flavored ones >

i tend to enjoy the more classic flavors of snus...ettan, grov, n&j strong, general, lab, skruf...and mint....thunder frosted, general mint.

ill have a sweet snus...camel frosted or mellow as a bedtime treat for the candy-like sweet and low nic

Welcome! Another noob here, and I'm enjoying the flavored snuses a lot, too. Some have only a subtle flavor, however. But the variety is one of the great things about snus.

Give the two Goteborg Rapes a try. I'm more of a fan of No. 2, which kinda has a unique berry taste to it, but the original has sorta a gin taste to it and isn't too bad either.

I thought I would be drawn to flavored snus but found myself gravitating toward unflavored or original flavors. Welcome and remember if you ever order something you dont like you may be able to trade them in the Snus Exchange! Win Win.

Northerner states they are out of stock, and will have it on my next order, so I'll have to order real soon anyway, tried the Nick and Johnny Strong on my way to work.... very nice, and yeah, kinda like Onyx, just a bit mellower. The Oomph citrus is interesting.... no flavor at all... which is a nice change... gonna bring that when I go out to eat. Hardest thing today was settling on what I wanted to use at work... so brought a variety.. the catch eucalyptus, Onyx, and the oomph. Why oh why didn't I find out about this stuff sooner???

Ain't that the truth huh, i felt the same, when i started using snus.

I tried a few different flavored snus. Started with Skruf tranbar (cranberry) didn't like that too much but need to revisit that one again soon. I did recently try my first can of Thunder Berry. The first portion i thought, hmmm not sure about this. Then by the end of the can i was looking forward to my evening berry blast. Probe Whiskey has an interesting flavor i think, smokey, smooth almost creamyish and rich all at the same time. I have just revisited N&J strong and i'm really enjoying that. Had my first can of that one back in September last year and wasn't impressed, now i'm loving it. Just goes to show, if you don't like something now, give it a few months and try again, tastes do change !!!!
