Hang in there, it does normalize...I promise. I too was a smoker, and putting tobacco in my mouth was completely new to me. The gum pain/burn, and the juice making my throat burn a bit....it was different for certain. I used a bottle to water to ease the burn, and kept moving the portions from one side of my mouth to the other until I got used to it, won't take too long. Hang in there, you're almost to the promised land, lol!

Welcome to the world of Snus! I switched from cigarettes to Snus a little while ago. At first its a bit tough to get used to, but you will learn to love it. Eventually the burning sensation will go away, and you learn how to reduce dripping. I find now I salivate less when I have a portion in, and I still have very little drip after an hour and a half.

Cool!
I had quit regular smoking before I found snus, but I'd occasionally smoke, like when I visted my smoking father, or hung out with smoking friends, but now that I snus, I have no desire to smoke at all, and on the rare times I do, I find it unpleasant. I smoked one of those new Marlboro Special Blends last Saturday night, after a lot of vodka, and it made me feel bad, even the next day.
