Hi I'm a new user of snus in the US so I really only had access to Camel Snus when I first tried it. I know alot of people on here say that Camel is crap snus but I do kind of like the taste but wanted to try real swedish snus as well so I ordered CatchDry Euccalyptus and Jakobbson Icy Fruit to try. I received them both in the mail and tried them and I find them too salty for my taste the CatchDry is actually tolerable and I can finish the can but the salt content just seems like to much for my taste. Are there any brands of actual swedish snus out there that is less on the salty side and with a little of the sweet side? I think that might help me transition easier away from the camel to actual swedish snus. Thanks for the help.
Salty vs Sweet

The heavy salt taste goes away in a bout a week. I think for less salty and with a slight sweetness, I suggest the Offroad and Phantom/Rothbrix snus. I personally like Offroad Original Portion a lot, as well as the Phantom Classic Portion, and the Phantom Brown portion, and Offroad also makes a wintergreen, licorice, and others. I believe they all have a slight sweetness and less saltiness. Getsnus used to sell the Phantoms under another name, Rothbrix, but the new site doesn't have these.
And welcome to the forum.

Sorry for my delay posting, but first, wanted to say welcome to Snuson nanokenz.
As others said, the salt taste you are experiencing goes away in about a week to two weeks. Your body simply needs time to acclimate itself to the salt. Once that happens, you will taste the snus as it really is.
I really encourage you to keep an open mind. Almost everyone who comes to snus from Camel assumes they want flavored snus. But after a few months, almost all of them come to find out they prefer non flavored snus after all.
Your tastes will change all over the map your first year, best to just keep trying different snus.
And again, welcome. I had the first ever Snuson wedding a month ago and am still trying to find a balance in my new life.

General mint would be a good snus to try if you're looking for sweet and not too salty. Wintergreen too, if you're used to the flavor through other US smokeless products already. The salt taste should fall into the background after a week or two, though, so keep on using what you have and see if it gets better.

If you actually like Camel "SNUS", Id say General Mint will more than satisfy your palate. Minty and sweet, but with some actual Swedish tobacco taste.
The two you mentioned, I personally think they suck ass and are a poor representation of Swedish snus... but thats just my opinion, and others will surely disagree.
BTW - Welcome!
