Are you looking for a compact because you lack space or you are looking for something cheap?

For just a few dollars more then that one you could get a small chest freezer, which would be a couple times as big from Home Depot or Lowes.

Thanks. I also found it and this one at Home Depot.
What do you think? Holiday or GE?
          http://www.homedepot.com/Appliances-...atalogId=10053

It looks like they have to be manually defrosted. Some say monthly.

How much snus do you estimate I can get into this unit? It is 1-2/7 cubis foot
          http://www.amazon.com/Haier-HUM013EA...4342661&sr=1-2

I only want it for snus and space is a consideration.

          Edit:

          I also found this one:
          Haier 3.5 cu ft

I was looking at that GE at Home Depot. Then the wife found out. Now I have to buy her as new upright freezer and I get the old hand me down chest freezer.

I've had my manual defrost chest freezer for about 11 years. It has been defrosted once. It could use it again.

IMO, the "trick" to not having to defrost often is to not leave it open. Get in, get what you need, get out.

                OK. cool.

I kind of like the 3.5 cubic foot Haier.

Any opinions of Haier? I've never owned their stuff.

                  Never heard of them.

I don't have a problem with other brands, but I would research to see if you can find a source for parts for them. At least for the major brands you can usually find a internet part supplier if something goes wrong.

For the most part there are 3 major appliance manufacturers; Whirlpool/Maytag/Amana, Fridgidare\Electrolux and GE. And each probably has even more brand names they sell under. It's possible, with this type of item, they are not made by one of these three, but most items are. I always try to google to find out who actually makes it. Whirlpool stuff is top notch. Fridgidare and GE are hit or miss and GE is EVIL, so I refuse to buy anything GE.

Well, I know what I would do. Haier = newer brand owned by Chi-coms, GE = EVIL or Holiday = Whirlpool.

                      Good luck!

I'm torn between Haier and Holiday.

You state that Holiday is Whirlpool but your link says it's Maytag.
                        How do you rate Maytag?

I like the Haier for it's 3.5 cu ft size.
                        Apparently it's a Chinese company.
But it may be good. ?

I have a Sanyo mini-fridge. GE makes Hotpoint right? I think it's Hotpoint, my regular fridge is that. I know this is about freezers, just felt like saying this.

How big is your mini fridge? Does anyone own one this small?
I want to know if this will hold 15 to 20 rolls of snus when
packed in vacuum bags as in the video.

"Measures approximately 19-3/4 by 19-3/4 by 20-2/7 inches;"

So, yea, definately. Let's say each bag of 9 cans (to stay square) is 9x9x1. So, you could put in 4 squares on the bottom = 27 cans. Then you could do that in vertical stacks of, let's say 18 bags (to be safe) = 486 cans or 48.5 rolls.

Again, going super safe, let's say that the interior dimensions don't account for the space needed for the compressor, etc. Even if that takes half your space, you should still have room for more then 1/2 of that.
