You state that Holiday is Whirlpool but your link says it's Maytag.
    How do you rate Maytag?

I like the Haier for it's 3.5 cu ft size.
    Apparently it's a Chinese company.
But it may be good. ?

Sorry for the confusion. Maytag was purchased by Whirlpool a few years ago, thus they are the same. Whirlpool, Maytag, Roper, Amana, Holiday...
Haier may be ok, but I'd trust the best American appliance manufacturer, Whirlpool, way more than a relatively unknown Chinese brand.

Besides, the 5 cubic ft Holiday is less expensive than the 3.5 cubic ft Haier. Unless you just can't fit the Holiday in the space you intend to use, I'd get it. If you have any space left over, you can always stock up on chicken wings, the next time they are on sale!

Thanks to danielan! This will help.

      To bsd777:

I am talking about the Haier 1.2/7 cu ft.
Space is a consideration and since I
only need it for snus I think the 1.2/7
may be right. One review said it got
      down to 20 below.

As for the brand; Wikipedia states Haier has
been making fridges in commie China
since 1920. I'm thinking it must be good
      if Mao approved it.

I've been working WAY too much. My math is totally off. But it's off in your favor.

        9 x 4 = 36
        ...

        I'm an idiot.

        36 x 18 = 648

        648 / 2 = 324

        324 / 10 = 32.4

So, our super conservative estimate would be 32 rolls.

My Whirlpool mini-fridge has 1/4 of the room taken up for the compressor.

My Sanyo mini fridge looks like it's about a foot and half squared.

Well, I received the Haier 1. 2/7 cu ft.

It's going back to Amazon. It's too damn
small! I can't even fit three cans along the
bottom depth wise. In other words if I use
the 3 by 3, 9 can Ziploc vacuum method
I can't lay them flat. This is becasue the
bottom half of the freezer, rear is taken
up by the motor. I read of this complaint
              by a reviewer.

              No prob.

Amazon is picking it up by UPS on the
next business day, all shipping paid.
Anyone know if that will be Tuesday?

I then drove out to Target and grabbed
              a Haier 3.5 cu ft.
              Haier 3.5 cu ft
              http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html...t_adv_xasd0400

This is not as wide as the 5 cu ft models.
It is about 6 inches less in width.

I'm going to wait a day so to mess with it.

So, what were the internal measurements in centimeters or something?

I don't know. I have it boxed up now.

I did some playing around with a calculator
and came up with a possible combination
                  of the dimensions.

                  Such as:

                  1.75 ft X .73 ft X 1 ft.
This comes to about 1.27 cu ft.
