What are flatpacks?

On northerner.com there is a section called flat packs. Just wondering what they are.

ten cans in a flat packing envelope. If you do a search on the forum there is a thread about them, but they are just intended to allow your cans to be slid into a mail slot.

And should be priced a tiny bit less than "standard" packaging
