Question on My 15 Rolls and Freezing

I have had my 15 rolls I received at room temperature for
nearly a week. Have I messed them up at all? I was waiting
for my new freezer and I'd like to wait a few more days for
my last 2 rolls so I can pack them in variety packs.

Should I throw them in now?

Our spring has sucked here and the temperature is way below
normal. We have not had a single day that has reached 80
degrees this year. It is in the 50's right now. The room temp
hasn't gone above about 72 at the highest.

    Did I do any damage.

I have read some other threads about freezing here.
Can I leave up to 20 cans in the fridge? I have been
and they are OK so far. I figure I use about 10 cans
    a month.

Also some of the older threads say one can freeze snus
up to a year. I thought I read here recently that it will
    last for many years.

    thank you

    No worries, man.

snus should be refrigerated at the least. Technically I think the Ph changes a little thus resulting in less nic absorbed and maybe it'll ferment a little more but I'm not sure about that. Others might have a more technical answer. At any rate a couple of weeks probably won't produce any noticeable change. Freeze them as soon as you can but you'd be best off if you could refrigerate them in the mean time. Snus in the fridge will be nice and tasty even months after the date. I've had snus from my freezer over a year after the date and it tasted fresh as could be. I just got a vacuum sealer too and made variety packs. With this method (and keeping them frozen) I would surmise that at least three years could go by w/o any sort of change in the snus.

Worry not. I'll be going up to 150 or so cans myself within the next few weeks.

You will notice that once you open a can the flavor will begin to change a little. This is mostly due to moisture loss. Even if kept in the fridge this will happen so don't keep too many open at once. I keep 5 open at a time w/o any issues. Usually it takes me 2 weeks to go through a can of GR and I notice a little drying with that one. A couple drops of water solves that, but I just drink some water or seltzer with it in (lazy I guess). Left out of the fridge I notice this within a few days. Stark snus takes me even longer to go through a can (could take three weeks) but I notice no change in those, probably 'cos they're loaded w/ flavor and nic anyhow.

I would be weary of keeping them in a cellar or damp, musty place. Tobacco will absorb the scents in the air...I wouldn't want snus that smells like my cellar.

Room temp, loss of pH, less nicotine, but no damage per se.
Refrigerate what you will use over the next 12-16 weeks
      Freeze the rest.
      .
Or if you're like me and have the space freeze everything

        Ok. Thank you both.

        I will freeze it soon.

And I do have a new chest freezer. It is the perfect size.
I finally got the 3.5 cu ft Haier Chest Freezer at Target.

I'm waiting for my Oden's ES Licorice to add to the variety
        packs.

How does one earn points here and why do I have
nearly as many as you do justintempler, when you
joined 5 months before I did?

What are the points used for? Nothing?

That is past the expiration date, right? It shouldn't affect the PH/nicotine factor if below the exp. date, so it would seem.
