    Quick PACT question

I just placed an order for a couple rolls at a great deal shipping was like 8 bucks through Sweden post, if I understand it right, with the pact law we can only choose UPS? That was around 35 which is crazy, is that what we are going to have to pay, if that's the case I gotta put one more order in!

Yup, that's about what it'll cost from Europe. The rates are competitive with USPS from an American site.

              Northerner, and um...Northerner :^D

There's also Getsnus, and some other Northerner affiliates, but I'd just use Northerner directly. It's easy to remember 1 name :^D

It's bad enough to drive a person to vote Republican.

Did Bush block The PACT Act? Did he refuse to sign it?
Or would McCain have signed it too?

I hate to burst your bubble but the overwhelming majority of Republicans voted for PACT as well. In fact, Orin Hatch is a well known tax the crap out of tobacco advocate. Obama signed off on it but even if he didn't they had enough votes in the house to override any veto. I have a feeling that the primary moving force behind PACT was not political but rather a way for big tobacco to curb competition from the Native Americans who were selling tobacco. I have come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter how you vote, the corporations will always win!

States were crying for the lost tax revenue. Convenience stores were crying because they couldn't compete with the internet. And the Feds weren't getting any tax revenue off those $15 cartons of cigarettes from the Ukraine.
It's not Republican or Democrat, it's about the $$$$$

It's true it's all about the money...and it's all governed by the idea that it's "revenue LOST". Where I come from you can't loose something if you didn't have it in the first place. It's pure thuggery the way things are going.
