Swallow salivas or not ?

Only context I've ever thought to say this, using snus, I swallow.

Darwin, I usually take my snuff/snus on the top deck but simply prefer to expectorate and find that this does not tie a hand up. I will dip in anyone's prescence although when ladies are present I will cover my mouth or turn my head. In many public places or while driving I will make use of an empty subway cup with straw or opaque bottle/can.

Why on earth could you not let fly from the top of a telephone pole? I mean, don't spit into the wind but........just sayin'.........

Jimbob I've taken advantage of the stealth qualities of snus at the doctor's office, hospital, non-smoking friend's houses, at work, etc. Pretty much anywhere you want to get a nic fix and aren't willing to hassle with somebody's anti-tobacco fixations. Not that it comes up a lot but it's sure nice to snus where smoking is banned and dipping is frowned on.

I'm with you there Darwin. Our local medical facility has a "Tobacco Free campus" policy. Every pediatrician visit I make a point of popping in a fresh portion . Same with work, I work retail so tobacco use is frowned upon, but I have snus in the whole day typically.

On topic, I've always swallowed snus juice since that is one of the pluses for me.
