i ran low of Swedish a while back for a couple weeks. Tried several American brands. All were minty and one tasted ok for half a can. I got sick of mint. Not just mint but MINT and artificial sweetener. Never noticed any nic other than no withdraws. The portions were HUMUNGOUS too. At the end of the two weeks I had cracks in my lips which had never happened to me except once when I first started using. None make any claims about how they are made except skoal. I won't try to repeat what I read but it was about some secret process that seals the flavor into each hunk of tobacco. I read that and pulled up the patent and read it and threw the skoal I had left away.
