Marlboro Snus (US)

I'm currently in Arizona on vacation. I was at a Circle K gas station and what do I see? Marlboro snus! Curiosity got the best of me and I purchased a six-portion packet for $1.59. Not a bad deal!
I chose Marlboro Rich, since I've heard it's the only flavor worth trying when it comes to Marlboro snus. The packaging is pretty weak compared to Camel's, but the snus on the inside is far superior.
The Rich flavor smells of nuts and cinnamon; it sort of reminds me of a fresh pack of Marlboro reds. The flavor is decent; there are hints of sweetness but its doesn't overshadow the tobacco flavor. When compared to Camel snus, Marlboro is way better. My only complaint about the flavor is the blandness; it tastes almost like nothing.
The nicotine kick is pretty weak compared to Swedish snus; the moisture content and low pH must have something to do with that. The value isn't too bad either, but the drawback is that each packet only contains six portions; that's half a day's worth of tobacco for me.
I would describe this snus as "not bad, but certainly not good". Compared to other American-made snus, Marlboro Rich is surprisingly good. However, I will stick with my Swedish brands, since they deliver more flavor and kick.

I saw this at a 7-11 while in Dallas.
I bought the Rich. it tasted like a Marlboro cigarette. I was in shock how nasty and dry it tasted. I guess it must not sell very well because the sales people didn't even know where it was on the rack.
Now I'm started to see this stuff around San Diego. Are they actually going to continue pedaling this crap?

6 portions per tin?? wth, when they first marketed it I think there was 10 or 12 per tin. And THAT was a rippoff.
The packaging is clearly for this crap to be marketed to kids.
Tastes like......nevermind. It sucks all around.
I can't believe its still made.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I have to say that I am new to snus and as of this post I haven't tried Swedish snus (I have 6 cans OTW, should be here by Thursday I HOPE!!) but compared to Camel Snus This crap is a JOKE. Camel snus Frost BARELY curbs my cravings for smoking, and still I have to smoke. I get 15 pouches for 2.49 U$D which isnt bad. But Marlboro is dry, expensive, and I only get 6 pouches for 1.89 U$D. The only thing I did like about it was the taste. It was a great flavor, but besides that, it WAS dry. Not worth the cash IMO. Also from what I read, it is not a TRUE snus(Not sure if Camel Forost ((US)) is either.
I read that it is VERY low nicotine release, which makes it so you have to SMOKE and SNUS, BLAH!! These are all opinions and what I have read on various sites, it might not all be true, but just how I was informed.
Thanks for reading this awesome review :P

Marlboro Snus Rich
Marlboro Snus Rich flavor.
FAIL!
OK, just got a pack of these today. The initial impact was not too bad. Smelled kinda good, like Irish Creme liquer. Portion was dry, as expected, maybe not real soft, but comfortable enough.
I licked it 1st, then put it in(yeah, yeah).
Tasted not bad at 1st. Was sweet but not too much, and also tasted like that Irish Creme, Bailys.
I was thinking, hmm, not bad, but not great, realizing this is a US snus, but I think, and still do, I liked it better than US Camel.
Taste was a little on the weak side, but then it got stronger, and it got worse. Had an artificial mediciney taste, which gave me a numbing like effect, and then led to a harshness on the throat.
It just got worse and worse. I think I kept it in over 45 mins, but that was all I could do.
Not a rebuy, and I don't think I can use the rest. And the "flavor" lingers even after spitting it out. Ugh!
Sucks.
These comments are my opinions only.

Got one of these in right now. My wife got a pack for free with her cigarettes. This is actually the 2nd time I've tried these little bastards. I got a pack when I was waiting on my first snus order a month or so ago and ended up giving half of them away. They were making me sick.
Revisiting them, they're not as bad as I remember. But I find myself craving a General OP as I have the damn thing in. I think all these would do is make a smoker want a cigarette MORE than before they put it in!
They're sickeningly dry. They're a joke. The only good thing about them is the smell. I keep opening up the pack just to smell them. Too bad they don't taste as good as they smell. (I've got a pack of the Rich flavor)

these just became available in my area. I had to try them. I tried the "rich" flavor as I thought that would be closest to a pure tobacco flavor. I was wrong. It tastes a little like irish creme liqueour. I should say it tasted like regurgitated irish creme. It was absolutely vile. Maybe 5 seconds in my mouth before I spit it out and that horrible taste would not leave me for quite a while.
It makes camel snus look high quality. It's just disgusting. absolutely disgusting.
