In my experience those heart burn medications made me dependent on them. I was only able to actually get rid of the problem by doing the apple cider vinegar remedy for a couple of weeks. Now I only get heartburn when I eat the wrong stuff, like normal people.

Sorry this is totally not related to snus reviews. ops:

I have had H-Pi-Lori and chronic stomach issues all of my life. I noticed the snus giving me heartburn after running out of my Nexium. I was doing fine until I went through 1/2 a can of Thunder Berry, then BAM I needed my meds. Apple cider vinegar just makes it worse for me. I tried that to help me lose weight once and my stomach was a mess for 2 weeks. I wish it had worked, the Nexium is TOO expensive.

try taking a high potency probiotic for a couple months. Cured my stomach issues which I had for many many years. Dr. Ohira's is a good one. see Iherb.com

I'm wondering exactly what the Caffeine component is in Elyxyr power energy. I see on Northerner.com that it's listed as:
          Caffeine/port: 0,28 Mg
          Taurine / Port: 2,83 Mg

Which I would take to mean it has 0.28mg per portion of caffeine and 2.83mg per portion of Taurine? In European usage, isn't the comma used for a decimal place? One/tenth = 0.1 (US) = 0,1 (Euro)?

Or is there any way that 0,28 would actually mean 28mg?

In either case, that's VERY little caffeine - even if "0,28 caffeine/port" means 28mg - that's a lot less than even a regular can of soda.

In which case I find it hard to believe that this snus would actually make anybody's heart race any more than any other Strong snus, unless they were using 4 portions at once, in which case that'd be the same caffeine content as a regular cup of coffee (assuming it's 28mg and not 0.28mg?) but TONS of nicotine would blow away any effect by the small amount of caffeine...

Finally got around to trying this one. Now grant you, the tin was 2 months past 'best by' date showing June 9th, 2010.

So here is my short review:

Spray some Lysol on a woman's ass and lick it, *BAM* you have the flavor of EliXyr Power Energy. ..."LaZeR" ©

This stuff is pretty gnarly. It's best set down and avoided. I expected it to be something like energy drink meets tobacco and it went terribly wrong.

Two years ago the snus retailers were really pushing it... I'm surprised it's survived so far.
