Jakobsson's Icefruit Portion

It's not bad. Can't do all day or even everyday because after awhile it gets to me. Very Wrigley-ish. Thanks to Northerner I had 13 cans of this stuff. It'll get used....eventually.
I must say though Jakobsson's has a nice look going on with their cans. I'm all about aesthetics in addition. I'm very shallow.

I'm not a fan of straight mint, I want to make that very clear before continuing with this review. I don't like menthol cigarettes nor do I like mint snus or dip.

I rather liked the Icefruit flavor. It was a nice break from the typical mint flavor, which I generally find overwhelming. I liked the deviation from the usual blast of mint. Granted the flavors do clash a bit, but I didn't complain because neither was overwhelming. That is a quality I almost never find with mint products. More use will tell if I truly like it enough to order again. But like I said, it was a refreshing venture away from the utterly disgusting amount of mint flavor I am used to experiencing.

Oh, and 10 out of 10 points of packaging. The can is quite interesting and nostalgic.

I just finished a can of this. It took discipline, courage and diligence but I did it.

The taste is completely wrong and just this side of gross. The fruit flavor is way off the mark and instead reminds you of the nasty bubblegum you always tried to trade with unsuspecting friends as a child.

However the can is very nice and I dig the compass rose.

I received a can of this from a gracious forum member "Maher" , The taste is of Salt and more Salt and something not too fruity more sour than sweet , I gave a portion to a coworker and he actually liked it so this can of ick will be gifted again

thanks again Maher , and please for the love of snus Jakobsson's please discontinue this disgusting snus and stop being so damn cheap and give me 24 portions of your delicious wintergreen !!!!

I usually keep a can around for a special treat. I love this snus when not used too frequently. Just a treat after a hard day at work or something like that. I like the taste and the can design is amazing.

3/4 of the way through my first of 2 cans of Ice Fruit. The second will be in the freezer for awhile. Not horrible but there is SO much out there that is better. 2 out of 5. And that's being generous.

Can we go into negative numbers here? Minus 10 out of 5 sounds about right. I'm just about out of snus--local store has one can of Ice Fruit--not even tempted.

First can I got, I was initially turned off by the overbearing salt. I managed to fight through the salt and actually started liking the juicy fruit flavor. As I've tried more variety of snus, this one has fallen down the charts quickly. I do still enjoy it on occasion but it never has been a daily snus for me. I usually use a portion of this after a meal as a dessert. One can usually lasts months. Overall, not the worst I've had but certainly not the best.

It seems like there are no standards in this snus though, one can tastes decent and the other tastes awful. Maybe it's just me but this is the only snus in which this is really noticeable.

I had high hopes for this one but was disappointed. The initial taste is great, but that fades...quick. There's a stale taste to it after about 20-30 if that and I have to spit the portion out after that or I feel I'd get sick.

Overall 5/10...just wish the taste after 30 minutes was at least pleasant.

Update: My local retailer had one can left--IF. I said above I wasn't even tempted. Well I caved and talked the guy out of it for free. One portion later and it's worth everything I paid for it. I suppose I can understand the name. Ice Fruit sounds a lot better than Salty Crap.

I kinda like the icefruit....because I don't like myself that much.....

If I am using portions I will not waste too much time with this snus. A portion every six months will do it for me.
