An excerpt from my recent review on this.
"Alright, so how does it taste, what's it like - is it good? Well asking me is like asking a blind man what he thinks of the Mona Lisa. It's true that I'm not the biggest Wintergreen fan. From my story about how Wintergreen dip made me vomit in high school, to the last Wintergreen snus I tried, it's not on my list of things I enjoy the most. But, Gotland's makes a hell of a product, so I figured this would be a pretty interesting snus to me. The portions are great - they're original portions, and I compare the moisture content to Offroad Frosted (which is one of my favorites). It's moist, but not dripping, which means the snus holds the moisture quite well, and that's something I really value in a snus. The aroma is Wintergreen, but not OMG Wintergreen like I'm used to, it's actually kind of pleasant, it's pretty mild stuff. The portions are very comfortable in the lip, a little burn at first, but it doesn't last too long - it comes with quite a kick though. This being a Strong portion, that is expected. And the taste? It's actually pretty good! I'm not a fan of Wintergreen, but Gotland's has made a Wintergreen snus that is so pleasant and enjoyable, I think everyone can enjoy it. The taste is mild, wintergreen, and slightly sweet with a very gentle salt balance, but not too much - it all mixes together very well. A big kudos to the folks at Gotland's, you have made a believer out of me! A great product, and I can't wait to see how it does in the US."

Just tried this. It's really good! It's sweet. It doesn't burn like General's, and it's a a sterk. If you're a fan of General Wintergreen, or a fan of mint, I highly recommend this. The can looks really cool, until you rotate it all the way around and see a HUGE warning label on it. At least it only says that the product is addictive, not death, doom and destruction if you use it.

Yes Tom, the new Camel. I was going to offer to purchase this and the Robust for people under the snus exchange BUT I thought that may be borderline breaking some rules so I resisted.
Just adding here to my previous mini review: I gave a portion of the Jakob. to my hubby, the non-tobacco user and he had to spit it out within a few minutes and claimed that this one affected him the 'worst' out of any previous offerings, (racing heart, pounding head, dizziness, nauseated and said that if he were driving, he would have crashed the car). That's a good sign to people seeking a strong nic hit. I normally don't feel nic, but this one even makes my heart race a tad and makes my palms sweaty. Anyway, I am enjoying my 2nd portion now and I actually like it better than the first portion. With that said, I recommend everyone try at least one can, even if you aren't a wg fan!

I finally got mine in the mail yesterday and have gone through about half of a can.
They went the general route and use a mint oil. It's not as greasy feeling as generals, but the portions are soft and have a little of the greasy feel to them. The flavor also leans closer to general's WG than thunder's WG. All in all it tastes pretty decent, but I was hoping for a WG like thunders as opposed to the mint oil-dipped bag kind of thing a la General WG.
I'll have no problems finishing the roll I ordered and will probably order more since I like it better than general's, and I want to cut the nic of thunder down a notch.

Ladysnus,If you end up not liking the wintergreen I will be happy to take it off your hands for you. Just let me know and we can work out something. This stuff is pretty good, but I miss the burn that General wintergreen gives you and the nicotine content doesn't seem like 14mg a portion. I usually put two portions in to get a little lite headed.

I use almost only strong/sterk/stark/whatever and i like wg. I read review after review about how good Jakobssons Wintergreen is and how strong it is. so Jakobssons Wintergreen was one i had to get asap and it came yesterday.
I have used maybe a 1/3ed of a can so far. overall i would say it is ok. it's taste is not what i was hoping for. i was hoping for a real true wg taste and this is more sweet and less wg than what i hoped.
in the nic department, in my book this is not a sterk. for example, i have a nick & johnny in right now and can tell the nic is there. Truthfully, i cannot tell nic is in Jakobssons Wintergreen but i am not saying its not at all. Just that it is slow and low enough i am not able to feel the hit. Jakobssons Wintergreen says 9 mgs. N&J says 10 mgs and N&J's nic hit is noticeable to me and Jakobssons Wintergreen is not.
I know my review goes against the grain of what most say but it is my findings ;-) Bottom line, i will probably buy more of it but mostly because the other wg's out there are not any better. "general" wg taste better to me but i ain't sure if it has any nic. thunder wg just sucks. offroad portion wg don't deserve any comment. offroad loose is good but they are stopping it's production. obviously my taste in wg must not fit the average mold.
don't get me wrong Jakobssons Wintergreen is not bad. it just did not blow me away like i was expecting
