First can impression:
Flavor spectrum is similar to Grov, but with much more physical bite. This bite causes me to rank Skruf above Grov and General regular, but I'll still prefer Ettan regular portion for day-in, day-out use. (Ettan for flavor, not bite.)
Downside to the bite, for a drip-lover, is that whatever it is that burns the lip so nice also burns the throat when swallowed over the first twenty minutes of use.
Flavor lasts about forty minutes.

I bought this on sale for 99c a can (expired date) and had it in the freezer for 6 months or so.
I ran out of my #2, so have been double barreling these. The taste is not that bad, even after being stored so long. I get a slight fruity taste for some reason.
I don't think I'll ever switch from the #2 just for portion size and what little leak it prevents, but these had me surprised. I would recommend them if you are still searching for your favs.

Skruf Original Portion is decent, but lacks the bite and flavor of it's stronger siblings, Stark and Xtra Stark Portion. The snus smells of light bergamot and rose oil with a subtle hint of mellow tobacco in the background. The flavor is mellow and the portion does not drip at all, even after one hour. This product feels and behaves like a white portion snus; the flavor is bland and the nicotine kick is subtle at best. Skruf Original Portion will be enjoyed by those who prefer white poriton snus. If you prefer in-your-face flavor and a strong nicotine kick, spend your hard-earned money on Skruf Stark or Xtra Stark Portion instead.
6/10

I like this snus.
I had Skruf before the change and it blew my lip up and really irritated the shit out of my lip and gums. I too k a chance this week and ordered some (along with a roll of Skruf Stark los which I tried and did not get a reaction to)
I am excited. I really like the flavor of Skruf. I think (so far) the Stark flavor profile is my favorite but this is a nice snus. It has a pleasant tobacco/bergamot/rose thing going on....a menage au trois of flavors if you will. Well balanced and nice.
It is subtle. Sometimes you want to get bashed in the wang with flavor and sometimes you want a smooth caress.
And it comes in a pretty neat can with one of the better snaps shut I have heard on a can in a while. Not quitrle the Tupperware the old Gotlandssnus cans were.....but pretty darn good.
This snus is nice.

I like this snus quite a bit. I'm primarily a General fan, and I think Skruf offers a nice change up for those who still want a tobacco flavor. Its definitely got more of a bite than General, General is a little smoother and has more fruity undertones. Skruf is just in your face tobacco flavor, with a nice mouth burn that follows in suit down the throat. Has a surprisingly nic kick to it as well, considering its a regular portion.
Definitely roll worthy for me.

Skruf original portion has improved over my last experience using it some two years ago. I had been buying a tin or two with my orders and noticed that I couldn't taste the Rose oil after using a few tins. This latest single can tasting was a pleasant surprise. I could taste a little Rose oil and Skruf tobacco flavor is still good.
