Skruf Stark Portion has become my "go to" daily favorite. It has a distinct berry flavor and seems to be long lasting while of course supplying a higher level of Vitamin N. In comparison to Nick & Johny's, Claq Qui, General ES, and even Oden's ES (both regular & kanel) - Skruf Stark Portion wins out in my opinion for overall flavor and nicotine satisfaction.

I use mainly starks. I have tried a couple of dozen different snus' from northerner and this one is the only one I have not really liked. I finished the can, but it took about a week. Tastes like stale tobacco residue from the bottom of an ashtray with some salt added. I shall steer clear of this one.

If you like rose oil flavoring you will enjoy this. It is mainly tobacco with hints of rose oil and Bergamot. The nic is high and enjoyable. Goes well with a beer or coffee.

I found this portion snus to have a really good flavor and good strong nic kick, but I was disappointed in that it seemed to lose its flavor rather quickly. As opposed to LaZeR' s comment above, this one did not seem to last long flavor-wise, to me.

Bought one of these a couple of months ago. Very tasty good flavor lasted about 2 hours for me. It has a flavor that I enjoy and would buy again.

              Tastes. Like. Skruf.

So -- it's Skruf for the stark aficionado.

My experience coincides with the reviewers who remarked that the flavor doesn't last too long. Just. Like. Skruf original portions.

Skruf Stark, well what can I say, my go-to chain-snus

The mixture of rose oil, bergamot and tobacco tastes to me are delicious and as far as nicotine release goes well to me it kicks like a mule Big + for me as well I've never wanted a cigarette again since using this stuff where as I did occasionally sin whilst using other brands.

To me Skruf portions are like hybrid portions, not quite a brown but not quite a white portion, rather somewhere in the middle which fits very well for me.

I'm enjoying this one a lot. I admit I was a bit concerned if I'd like the flavour, not really being sure what the whole rose oil thing would taste like, but it's very agreeable. Good nic hit, too. I'll see how I go with the rest of the can, but I can already see this one becoming a regular.

This has got to be the blandest snus I've ever tried. It's fairly dry for an OP, and even when I put it on my tongue I can't taste anything. I only use it for work for the short breaks I get, and I ordered three cans and I'm so glad I'm finally on the last one. There's just nothing there. I see no one's commented on this snus in four years, so maybe it was better at one time, but the cans I ordered were dry and flavorless. The best thing I can say about it is at least you don't get a nasty flavor, and there's no drip, so if that's what you're looking for, then give it a try.

Ive had a similar experience kaplan. Ive got skruf that just has no flavour like this one and sun fresh. Then i get selection and it taste great. I think they have some quality control problems

I rolled the dice on a roll of Skruf Stark Portion some time back after really enjoying the regular strength original portion ...... I was disappointed as well......dry,very little flavor, and none of the signature Rose Oil flavor I like.......QC problem could be the answer....

It's not quality control ... they know exactly what they're doing. Skruf stark has been made by Imperial Tobacco for quite some time now and they do what all big tobacco companies do ... they try to get away with changing the recipe to make it cheaper and cheaper relying on the brand to do the selling for them.

Skruf Stark used to be a delicious flavoursome snus (especially the lös) when the company was independent ... it hasn't been that way for a long time.

This! I distinctly remember when they started using less rose oil, not long after imperial tobacco took them over. Now it is back but not as prominent as it once was. I still like the Xtra stark and the slim white Xtra stark portions. The Lös is much better now that what it was for a number of years.
