This is one of my favourite snus. That being said, it does come up a bit short in the flavour department. Still, it's quite easy to bake a prilla, and holds up fairly well. Tastes good for a while, but then the flavour sort of dies out half way through. The big thing for me is having this first thing in the morning, as it hits you with a huge dose of nicotine all at once. It's one of the few out there where I can literally feel the nicotine levels rising. Sometimes I just like to get out of bed, put in a pris of Skruf Stark, and get back in bed. Just lay there and be all warm while I feel the nicotine going into my system. Makes for a good morning, and goes well with coffee.

I'm really enjoying this snus - especially as I don't think much of Skruf White Portion (which I ordered a roll of without trying it first - Doh!)
Good flavour, but not overpowering, nice to bake (or use with a tool). I seem to be taking a 2 click pris with my 4ml tool of this, then shaping that into more of a lozenge shape before using it.
All in all, very enjoyable.

It certainly is. I've got this, Kardus 09, Roda Lackett and Odens ES in rotation as my Christmas los - and the Skruf seems to be the one I'm reaching for the most (I'm kind of rationing the Kardus as I think it will last me until March or so if I do)

With my previous stocks gone and odenssnus order still on the way I am forced to snus this, Skruf Stark Loose. Being marketed as a brand for stylish, fashion oriented city metro sexuals this snus is supposed to be good but... I find it worse than most low cost brands, with the exception of Offroad perhaps which is really horrible.
Skruf Stark Loose comes in a very nice can, it looks modern, feels modern and it smells really good when you first open it. I don't detect any tobacco flavors in it but the hints of rose oil, cranberry and bergamot are very gentle, balanced and good on the nose (don't let this flavor deceive you though, it won't last in the mouth).
Skruf is one of those snuses that bake and keep together extremely well and it does not clog my icetool (with some snuses I need to clean it more often than usual, for example with Gustavus).
My positive experiences with Skruf Stark Loose end at this point... 20 minutes into the pris and flavor is gone. I say gone when in fact it never really developed in my mouth. I can use various techniques for flavor extraction like blowing air into my mouth, playing with tongue and lips and so on and whatever I do I remain very unsatisfied. I would even go this far and describe Skruf as a snus with no flavor (NO Flavor - no tobacco, nothing whatsoever). It feels like purified, artificial, absolutely foreign to Sweden.
Nicotine uptake is hard and unpleasant. It does not work the way Thunder, Oden's or Montecristo, or whatever stronger snus you might name, works. I never got a "buzz" or anything similar. It just kind of saturates my body with nicotine and it feels like a different type of nicotine not the one I so much like to enjoy.
Sorry Skruf, I really liked your Tranbaer Loose (long gone) but there is something wrong with this one. This is only my opinion of course....
