To me knox is one of the boldest flavored snuses out there. That together with its course grind, easy baking, and low price make it an excellent choice for those coming to snus from dip. You will defiantly taste this one.
The flavor is bergamot and a strong note of pepper/smokiness.
Well worth a try and a quality budget snus
Similar taste profile to: General and GranitWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

Very good
Sorry to say I can't offer a quality review, yet. The subtle flavors others sometimes used to describe snus elude me, but perhaps will come with time. This is the best I can do for now. Knox is very good. It has good flavor and the taste reminds me more of General than anything else. A bonus, to me, is the plastic can. I hate cardboard cans. The snus dries out to quickly.
My favorites so far are General, Skruff stark, Etten, Roda, Grov and now Knox. Perhaps with a little more time, I'll be able to definitively state which of these I prefer, but not yet. Skruff reminds me a good cigar. Grov reminds me of my old favorite, Copenhagen dip. Etten and Roda seem a bit like Grov, but simpler. And General a bit like Grov, but more complex.
Gotlands yellow is ok, mainly as an occational, to breakup LONG chain snusing instances with my favorites. And I do not care much for any V2 product I've tried so far. But the least objectionable of these would have to be Offroad original. The worst would be Phantom brown. It's weird, but it doesn't have any tobaco flavoir.
Thanks for the tip Snusdog. It looks like I'll have to give Granit a try. Anyone else care to share a recommendation for me?
Thanks and try Knox . It's good stuff.

Originally posted by ChooseSnus.Blogspot.comIf you're on a budget and like Skruf brand, this may be the snus for you. Similar in flavor albeit a bit dumbed down due to the lower nicotine content, Knox lös has a course texture and kind of reminds me of my former American "Dip" Copenhagen in this way. Deep tobacco flavor with a hint of citrus and less salt than it's big sister, Skruf Stark lös. The pris holds together really well both hand-baked or with a tool and thus makes the perfect "loose" snus for a beginner. The flavor seems to really last and stand out at the 1hr mark and beyond. Good budget snus from Skruf AB
The nicotine content stands at (8mg per 1 gram). Produces a nice smooth and level delivery of vitamin N.

Maybe it's only because I have a beginner's palate, but I wouldn't go so far as to describe the flavor of Knox lös as bold. But it's not mild, either. "Rich" might be a better adjective. However one chooses to describe it, it's tasty and satisfying. As far as lös goes, it's quickly becoming my favorite. I like it better than Göteborg’s Rapé lös, although with portions it's the other way around.

Wouldn't claim it to be the all-time best snus (that search is pleasantly ongoing) but for me it is far, far from being the worst. It was very apparent at first taste that Knox is Skruf's little brother and I really like Skruf. Dog's review hits it on the head, this is a very tasty and good bargain snus.

Knox los is a strange bird.
plastic can, and a quality grind. This stuff pinches and bakes with the best of them with a very “on brand Skruf grind”.
The smell is strange. You can smell the bergamot and tobacco with the tiniest floral hint, and when it is in the fridge cold it has a pleasant smell. When it warms up and hits room temperature or pocket temperature it smells like Copenhagen Snuff to me. Hard line dip smell with a hint of bergamot.
The flavor, when taken from the fridge is salty and tobacco, but super mild. Warm this is a flavorful and very reminiscent of a natural dip flavor.
I was hype about the flavor once it warmed up, but it is too much all of the time. I want to lower lip this and spit all day doing outside things when I smell this.
Do I like it? Yes. Do I like it as snus? Not really. This is great to scratch the “dip itch” I get when I’m doing something outdoorsy…like if I went camping, was working on the car, or on a hike.
Sitting at my desk doing work? Not really, and now a days my life is mostly indoors or in the car, so hard to spit consistently.
I think having a tin or two on hand for adventures is not out of the question for me, but I could not use this everyday, or all day. Or really with any consistency. This is a “time and place” snus for me, and I’m ok with that. As long as I can get it I will have a tin in the freezer waiting for adventure.
