Looks like I am late to the party but better late than never.....right?

I just got a can of the extreme los today in a trade. I have already tried the portions and, although they are tasty and good, they did not prepare me for what was to come when I got this tin of los.

It comes in a tin that is new, rounded and sexy in my pants pocket. Bulky? A tad....but it protects what may be the greatest tobacco product that I have ever put in my mouth. And...it protects it well.

Upon opening the room temperature can I was greeted with the smell of a freshly cut pepper. The smell is reminiscent of a habanero getting it on with a green bell pepper. Spicy yet moist and fresh. Oh baby.....I wanna put it in my mouth.

I went for a pris.....and all you other losers know how much texture plays on enjoyment of a snus....texture. it is like it was lovingly hand chopped and the moisture was folded in and then gently spooned into the can. By angels. Holy crap it is moist....but light and fluffy. If this tastes half as good as it looks, feels and smells I will personally put the kids of everyone at GN through university* (not directly....but by buying the snus).

I baked up a big old pris as my experience with the portions told me that it would be strong, yet gentle.

Wow. It is good. I her a lot of fresh pepper notes but not so much a burn that the smell alludes to. Not black pepper or habanero....more like poblano now that it is where it should be.....in my mouth. There os a tobacco flavor dancing in the background of the pepper....and I really feel the pepperiness is the main flavor in the tobacco most likely due to the high nicotine content. The tip of the tongue picks up a bit of spice and it has a very pleasing and balanced flavor as it crosses the taste zones. Slightly a drier taste than expected as with a dry chilli but in no way a snus that lacks moisture.

I read of the apple and citrus flavors but I am going with raw green bell pepper for that taste sensation.

Now....for the nicotine content. It is strong....strong as all get out but as opposed to other high nicotine brands this snus goes not say "Take it all at once mother****er!!!!!!" There is a gentle release and, with about a gram pris in I really haven't gotten a buzz or the dreaded nic-ups. I do feel it working but it is pleasant....and I really have gotten my tolerance down. Lately I have been on 3g of snuff a day max and one snus in the am when I wake up and one before bed. Light use throughout the day and a gram of this isn't killing me. (A gram of Thunder los might make me puke for comparison.) And....this is on an empty stomach with minimal coffee. Excellent delivery. Micro prillas in the future but the lasting power of this snus is where it really shines for me.

Overall....this is a great snus. On mouthfeel alone it is a roll buy. The flavor really is unique and I am stating as a fact: if you like the portion you are doing yourself an injustice not trying the los.

I am so sure of the new Odens Extreme line that there will be a blind roll buy of the Kanel along with a roll of this wonderful extreme los.just when I was getting upset with the state of los in the snus world along comes a snus to restore my faith and let me buy a roll with confidence again.
