Odens Extreme Loose

I have had the pleasure of spending some time with a can of this Los Tobacco. The can itself has a wonderful label and my sample has no warning labels to obscure the overall look. This is my first time with this can design and I find it be an exact quarter of an inch bigger in diameter, although the can flairs ever so slightly towards the top. It is the exact same height as a Luckys can. The rounded shape fits nicely in my pocket and has no sharp edges. The lid is easy to remove, since the can has a recessed area for that purpose. The can seals very well too with a resounding click. This one should travel well in my pocket and stay nicely sealed for freshness.

Ok, whats in there! Very moist dark tobacco with very spicy aroma! The grind is very much like a Grov Los, and it handbakes well. And the taste? Well it is very good tobacco and hits me with a very pronounced pepper, it is spicy, and I attribute that to the nicotine content, reminds me of the taste sensation from a very high alcohol beer. You know, spicy! I went down and got out my Pioneer los because that is what this one reminds me of, good straight tobacco taste. No citrus, But the spice effect reminds me of cinnamon, not the taste, but the tingle.

Now I started out with a regulation 4 click Icetool Prilla, for about ten minutes, and then my hair started standing up! You can feel the nic from this one, but it is a slow progressive effect. I will be honest with you, I removed it, waited 20 minutes, and started over with a two click dose. That 20 minutes were just glowing for me, this stuff does not disappoint in the delivery department.

I really love the comfort from a smaller prilla and I just keep biting on the Tobacco, There is no bitterness at all, it is just so nice to have that comforting peppery tobacco taste, and nothing else. What I find interesting is the the taste enhancement from the higher nicotine dose. It just has Heat. I have had this one in for 45 minutes and it just mellows but does not fade. I am looking forward to what others have to say about this one. For me it is a keeper and I have absolutely no qualms in recommending you try this one. Snusdog, this is the one! This is my kind of Snus!

Do yourself a favor and give it a whirl squirrel! I just love the heat from it! Chads review mentioned Citrus, I cant find it! It is like Pioneer, pure clean Tobacco, a little sweet yet the spicy heat is Perfect! LOves me long time too!

The citrus I found is very light, and as a hint, but it could be like Oden's ES Classic - where the sweetness is from the type of tobacco used. I really like it.

I think whalen is spot on..........it reminds me a lot of pioneer (on roids) with a hint of apple to it.

UPS dropped by with a package... Two cans of Oden's Extreme loose snus!

I'm just finishing up the first prilla and I like it. The taste is great. Its spicy with peppery notes. It doesn't taste as salty as the other snus out there. I really think they found the right balance in that department.

The nicotine fix is intense, but tolerable (at least for me). You can immediately feel the buzz coming on as soon as you put one in.

I will definitely buy some more of this on my next snus order!

For those of you that have the loose... Have you tried pairing it with a certain food or drink? I'm up for suggestions.

Tomorrow, I'll try pairing it with some morning coffee and see how they blend.

Got my EXTREME Loose today!!!!!!!! The quality of this tobacco is awesome! It's super dark, moist, and fluffy. Not putty-ish at all like SM's loose snusiis. The flavor is a perfect tobacco flavor. No taste of bergamot or anything. Just pure great tobacco. Like Whalen said, there is a peppery-ness to it, but I think it's just from the nicotine strength which is EXTREMELY STRONG!!!!!!
No joke. I'm on my second prilla and I'm buzzing away like mad! The first pris I made about a quarter the size of my normal and it rocked me pretty hard! The one I have in now was bigger but still small for me and I'm totally floored!!! I took a couple pics to try and show the quality of this stuff, but you gotta see it yourself to get the full beauty of it. First pic is General Loose. Second one is EXTREME Loose. Thank you so much GN for sending these to me!!! You guays are the best!!!!! Can't wait for more of your products to come out. I've been a big fan Odens ES Kanel Loose for a couple years. Tons of praise has to be given to GN tobacco for creating this wonderful Swedish treasure, with a staggering 22 mg of nicotine, it sets a new standard in taste, flavor and strength, that is really fantastic, and i would highly recommend it to lovers of strong los Snus.





This is the first time i,ve seen a can like this and i really like it, it looks solid, with a rounded edge, and also clicks nicely together to keep the Snus fresh. This Snus for me has a strong pure tobacco taste which i like, with a hint of spiciness, and also a peppery touch to it that is present the longer you leave it in. When it comes to nicotine though, this Snus dosen,t mess around, it
means buisiness, and takes no shit, with the nicotine coming through almost instantaneously, and it is just as satisfying a hour after you put it in, which, for me, along with the taste, is what makes this Snus great.


Overall, Odens Extreme los is a fantastic Snus, that feels great, is powerful in flavor and strength, and sure to please even the most battle hardened Viking.

Yes, very strong and it is a bit reminiscent of Pioneer. Much the same earthy, tobacco taste but more peppery and much stronger nic. A very slight hint of citrus in the way background but it's there. I was familiar with the hockey puck can (same as Ginger Lime) but the lack of an ashtray is meaningless with loose anyway and the lid closes tightly. Definitely will be going into the rotation and many rolls will be bought. Very good stuff.
