Odens No3 Lös

Just got this today. It has an attractive tin, as seen above, but what's important in the flavor. First taste reminded me of a muted LD, but on further use, I'd say it's LD, with a bit of Granit. Very nice, with a flavor that's bold, but not overpowering. It has a tart, and slightly bitter taste of bergamot, and mellow tobacco flavor in the back. The flavor lasts a good while also, and has NO smoke flavor, which I dig. The grind is on the finer side of medium, with a few larger pieces spread throughout. Very comfortable. Highly recommended for people who like traditional bergamot snus.

I'll have to spend more time with it, but I think this may be my new favorite bergamot that's on the market. LD is a close competitor, and I kind of like their over the top flavor, but the flavor runs out fairly quickly. This one starts out easy, and keeps on going. and NO SMOKE! :^)

I agree GN did a nice job with this one.......I went through my first tin a week or so back.....so I will wait on my second tin to do a full review.......but what Lx says is pretty spot on...........very nice classic flavor with lighter notes than the typical GN dark rich peppery tobacco.


For those a little put off by the high nicotine levels or the dark richness of the Extreme line (which I love as well)....#3 will be well worth your try.............its regular strength....has a classic snus flavor profile.....and showcases a brighter tobacco base

I have never tried LD. So is this more of a standard bergamot snus? I've seen it on GN's site for sale and wondered what it was. As he's not here any more it's difficult to tell what the new brands are - unless I haven't been paying attention like I never did at school

If it's a standard bergamot I think I'll order some of the portions

Yea, it's a traditional bergamot like General, LD, and Granit. I haven't had the portions, but the lös is excellent. It's probably my new favorite bergamot snus. The other competitor is LD, but it suffers from quick flavor die off.

I was sitting here trying to figure out why I haven't tried the new Oden's No3 Los? I'll have to rectify that and pick some up. If Dog and his muted canine palate likes it, surely I'll love it, lol
