Sometimes it is better when you have to wait??? 2+ years for me but I am not angry. GN, if and when you decide to send me some of your snus magic, just send rolls and rolls of Islay!

When was that, six or eight months ago?
Are they hung up in customs perhaps?

Welcome Conny! It was good talking to you on Facebook a couple of weeks back, and it's always awesome to get answers like that straight from the genius behind something.

Islay is always good. 2 years would be worth it for a delicious roll of smoky, scotchy, snusy goodness. I get tired of most snus after using it all day, but not this one.

        Mmmm

Haven't had the time to go to the store here in Gothenburg which sells this, but I'll try and get me a couple of cans (or a roll) after work this week. Seems fantastic!

            Conny,

You are a certifiable genius. Always been a fan of Kardus, but here you excel even that. Hat's off to you good sir.

It would not be a lower level of TSNA by pasteurization than if you "sweats" But cigar tobacco contains slightly higher levels of TSNA and low Nic, but great taste. We just use a bit of that tobacco in the blend.
TSNA is not higher than some of GN Tobacco's other products. If the case had been so had you already heard it from my last employer.

A little drier than I'd hoped for, but still a great snus. Then again I have batch 001. I hear later batches have a little more moisture content.

Next tin I open, I'm gonna try adding a bit of Peat Monster to it. That should moisten it up nicely, and kick the flavor into overdrive.

I'm really looking forward to try it, appearently the only site who ships to EU is odensnus.com that has incredibly high shipping costs. However I think that it's really worth the money.

Ok, I exeaggerated, it's not "incredibly high", but it's higher than the other sites on which I normally buy, for the amount that I'm going to buy.

UPS is far too expensive Gevorg, Swedish post isn't too bad and I can live with that cost, especially if I am buying multiple rolls of something, but the UPS is not worth the extra cost in my opinion.

I was talking about normal post. Actually I think that if you buy big amounts of snus the expedition costs are ok, the problem is if you just want to buy some cans, the minimum shipping cost is 10 euros.
I don't know how swedish post works, and I understand that your company would prefer to sell larger amounts rather than some cans, I was just talking for myself. I'll do it only because I really want to try the Islay snus, otherwise I'd honestly buy somewhere else.

So based on the almost universal love for the Islay Whisky portion I ordered a roll and received two free cans as part of my order.

Having gone through one can already I have to say that I am not as impressed with it as most of you seem to be.

There is just something about the taste that doesn't appeal to me (and reminds me a bit of an underlying tone that I tasted in the Odens Original), a slight mustiness maybe?

For some reason I was expecting something which tasted like Kardus and not something that tastes like - well frankly I don't know what. It's definitely not an Ettan or a Grov, its frankly not like anything I have tasted (and I have tried pretty much every snus available). All that I know is that I am not loving it.

On that basis, if my feelings don't change after I have finished the other free can I would be keen to trade the unopened roll in the near future. Will put it up on the trade section.

Ps: While I haven't been around much in recent years (life got in the way) some of the old timers can vouch for me.

Not true, Snuseline has it in now, though I would say it probably comes fresher from odensnus, but the free shipping is always so darn tantalizing
