I was hoping maybe Extreme would be another taste I could love, and so many do, but then I hear green peppers... eww. Then I hear more WOW OMFG GOOOOOOD!!!! I don't know what to think.

I got my samples of this in today and this stuff is addictive. What's in this, GN? Crack? I actually am getting a little of that green pepper/vegetable hint out of this but it's fading with each portion into just a delicious tobacco flavor. I love this stuff and now I can't wait to try the loose GN also sent. Two thumbs up!! GN, you sir have another customer for life. When the N°2 bergamot drops count me in on that too! As well as dark vanilla and creamy coffee!

I bought from finnish forum few cans of oden's extreme portion. It has same hockey puck can, but layout is different, white background, same logos, all text are black, and noticed that there's text "classic" above big Oden's logo. Not made in sweden text below, can is full of some russian text which i don't understand. Just curious, are this real stuff or some cheap russian copies, can GN verify? At least there are GN logo in bottom but everything else is russian. I can post picture later when i get home from work.
It would be nice to know are they real stuff or some russian cheap rat poison copy shit...

Finally got a can of this today! I smelled it first and it smelled like super fresh tobacco. It is one of the most moist snus's I've encountered and the best way to describe the flavor...it was like a VERY strong freshly ground coffee. I did not pick up on a "vegetable" flavor like many are saying here. The flavor was really good but this is some creeper snus! Right around 15 minutes I began to "feel" the nic so I spit the portion out..it was too late! Within minutes of spitting it out, I had a racing heart, excessive perspiration and 'extreme' queazy stomach! I had to gather all of my inner strength to keep from puking!! At one point, I even leaned over the sink to douse my face with cold water and also just in case I did throw up! So final opinion...this definitely lives up to its name - "Extreme!" This sounds like a neg review but it really isn't..this is just how I reacted to it..I liked the smell & flavor but I guess I am just too much of a weenie for 22mg!
Update: I just had a few more portions, being careful as to not use them too long. I take back my "coffee" description because I now can say that they taste like salsa to me! A good spicy salsa! Guess I get the "vegetable" flavor afterall! I really like it and cross my fingers for a wimpy version soon!

This is probably my favorite snus - I don't really react that strongly to the nic hit(thank god) so I love it mainly for the taste and smell.
It has a very natural feel but it is slightly scented with a (very light, not like with most other snuses) hint of lemon.. Like if you take some fresh dirt, some tobacco and mix it with a lemon wedge.
And the taste was pure tobacco with some pepperish and salty tones and it was AWESOME - It also really complimented the meal I was having the first time I popped one in there.
Lovely lovely snus - sadly it isn't easy to come by in Denmark - but I have a lot of lös Oden's Extreme so I'll survive :P

I received an order of this snus a couple weeks ago and am ready to voice my opinion.
The portions are typical sized, full, and consistant. The quantity in each can, however, is severely lacking. I have found some cans with a measley 15 portions, while the average can has about 18. I have yet to see a can with 20 or more.
The taste is fantastic. It is the most unique natural tobacco taste I have found in a snus over many years. It is rich and spicy without any fancy flavors.
What I will say is that for a snus that touts a 22mg nic content, this stuff is weak sauce. The nicotine release is so incredibly slow that it feels no different than most heavily freebased 8mg varieties out there. As I write this, I have two portions under my lip. I have always found it fun giving strong snus to friends and watching them turn green. The same person who instantly got the "niccups" from a thunder mini stomached an oden's extreme without a problem.
Overall, I give this snus a 3 out of 5.
Gn needs to improve quality control on the portion count per can, and needs some serious work on the nicotine delivery. 22mg means nothing if the free nicotine content is almost non existent. The flavor, however, is the only thing that makes me not regret ordering 3 rolls on blind faith.
Flame on my fellow snusers. I'm ready for the burn.

I'm not trying to hate on GN in any way, shape, or form. I can say i haven't really followed any of the Gn threads. They seem cool and involved in the community.
Just voicing my neutral opinion. I will most definately order this snus again, though i would like to see the portion count issue addressed.

I traded off my portions, but still have the lös, and it's almost unusable to me as far as nicotine goes. I always have to spit it out sooner than I'd like to. I dig the flavor, and have some regular Odens portion in now. Curious about the nicotine. I wonder if the portions are much different. I only used one out of the tin I got before I traded it, so I can't remember. I figured I'm not a portion fan, and not a stark fan, so someone who was would get better use out of it.
