Oden's Original Extreme

I was considering trying the portions next but just haven't yet. Right now I am working my way through a roll extreme original & 59 lös. I like lös but theirs is just way too mushy. The only time I use it is when I am at home, can't use it in public, get mudslide within 20min or less. To me the nic is fairly noticeable in the lös, and it takes a lot of nic for me to notice. Maybe by the time I am done with the lös I have GN will have fixed the issues with their portions.

I really like the flavor of Oden's Extreme Los a good bit and can feel the nic, But it is more slowly released over time and agree it is a bit mushy and doesn't hold well in the long run, It's only one of the few Los i will never use in public for this reason and only use it at home...

With that said...

The Oden's Extreme portions in my opinion are completly different and taste like what licking an ash tray full of used cigarette ashes would taste like and are nasty... If you like a unique natural tobacco taste of an ash tray then buy these...

Overall, I give this snus a 1 out of 5.

I've noticed the same issue with the portions always being pretty short. I sent GN a pm about it a couple days ago so hopefully he could see the issue resolved before GN bashing become the new bashing Northerner, but I haven't heard back. I think this has the potential to really hurt Odens as a brand in B&M distribution, especially in high tax areas. I've been trying to support them locally, and every time I go down to NYC I pick up a can, but I'm thinking I'll switch to grabbing some Thunder or Jaks. Taxes make it $6-$8 a tin, depending on whether I'm in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I've yet to get a single tin that's actually had more than 18 portions in it, and the one I picked up today only had 16 in it. I really like Odens, it was one of the first snus I tried, and remains one of my favourites. That said, it's really maddening to try and support them when it just bites you in the end. Unless GN can resolve their QC issues with Extreme's portion count, I think I'll just go back to ES Lakrits for my Odens fix, and start picking up Thunder when I roll through a B&M. It's particularly unacceptable because Odens is being marketed as a premium brand around here, and this sort of issue just winds of making the brand look amateurish. I really want them to succeed, but this has to be fixed if they want to.

I don't know that I would say I agree 100% with this but I do agree. I've already been flamed for my lack of sucking GN dick so I'm not scarred I mean scared. Don't worry xobe your not the only one who just doesn't get the GN suck feast. The 59 sucks in my opinion as well, so until he changes the formulation as he said he will, stay away from it. You most likely will hear support from those that have received egregious amounts of snus from the man. I know tho that there are many people who have spent good money on the stuff and not been satisfied with it. So all that being said Mr GN is a standup guy and should be appreciated for that and he is a welcome member of the forum. Tho sometimes you have to give it straight to somebody and freebies will always skew opinion. Just ask Namrata from Dholakia, When I was on snuffhouse she was giving away so much product nobody would say shit. Once it stopped the Boobirds came out...........

I personally liked the taste of Oden's Extreme Portion but found the nicotine hit to be a bit slow.
As I at the same times switched between the portions and the lös I found a clear difference - With the portions I found that I got a quite different more, burned tobacco flavour, whilst with lös I was shocked at the mix of different flavours I experienced.
But the thing is that since it gives out the nicotine so slowly I would often have a portion in for 1-1½ hours and could keep going on that and never have the nicotine overwhelm me, and I could just sit back and enjoy the taste - this is where the lös was a bit strong as I would only have it in for 30-40 minutes before the nicotine would kick me to the curb. But both excellent snuses that I liked.
In comparison to the Lös I sort of want to downrate it a bit, but comparing it to the other portions I have had I'd give it 4/5 since I really liked the pepperish flavor that I found to go great with different beers and food.
A bit of an allround snus if you want to have it in for a long time, and just have your nicotine fix.
The cans I had, had 16 portions in one and 19 in the other - I find this lack of consistency a bit disturbing to be honest as it really changes the value of the can.

OK, GN, That was not the response needed here. I love you man, but it is time for a level playing field as far as feedback. I myself had some tough times trying to gauge what I should try based on the early reviews of those clearly in a Dopamine haze of GN love. I still love you very much, but this is the side of the social marketing approach that one should concentrate on. Yes you will have lovers and haters, but everybody has some valuable feedback. I for one love the subdued taste of the 59, others no way. The 22 mg barrier has probably confused many, only the slow delivery makes these usable at all for me, and they are the only ones I have to suddenly yank or spit out when the discomfort hits. Others are chasing the nic dragon and do not get any love, The portion issue is a wake up call though, and now I will start counting them myself, short counts are a real problem for anybody trying to pay what is now a dear price for snus, this is a serious problem, and deserves a serious answer. I vividly remember this situation with V2, they stepped up.

I use this site to gauge the likes and dislikes of the many reviews and opinions presented here, and try to build a feel for which ones match my own, and I sure know that CJ and I have different takes on things! But there is no universal snus love for any one product, especially a new one. But we have gone through the growing pains of many independent producers. This is far from the first time someone has claimed short portions in a can, and many members take notice. I am aware when it happens, and I am also aware that it was quickly resolved, kudos to that! WE need you to keep sending snus up the flag pole, you need to see how many salute it, and for god sakes you need to throw out the high and low scores, after all you have to concentrate on the average user.

I am guilty of being in Hot monkey love, and I still am, but mainly because you have spent so much time here, and have tried so hard to interact. Yes you for the love of god sent me snus in my hours of broke ass darkness, and sent many a care package to the EU, I am forever greatfull! You earned my respect though, it was never for sale, my 2 cents.

I know That some Can love others Can hate it is life what i Can not understand is amount of jelosy in some people which spils out on Frosted on Bill and others well i Guess it is Becouse tjat is life you have good cops and bed cops out There. But then the weight on the can is also wrong, right now it states 20g...

It just is bit unfair to customers when every time they get different amount of portions, I personally haven't read how much do I get in every time and I don't plan to do it in the future, but this kind of thing may cause problems in expanding your sales.
