Tastes of mint, proper mint(like da herb) and its double the taste aparently... Nice very very nice. Will get again me thinks. nicer then peppermint or spearmint.

Now odens on this herbal railroad where shall it lead us, cannabis snus? mushroom snus? Lets hope...

I personally don't know why they would make a double mint. I'm still unsure of what it means, but if it's double the burn I assure you it's overkill. I love their cold white dry portiins but holy cow....they will make a man out of ya

I dont think its any stronger then their cold portions, its just herbal tasting mint tasting, rather then more artificial peppermints or spearmints you find in other snuses. I quite like the stuff, makes a nice change from my usual. I dont get the double it might be double for mint but has less burn then say a thunder cool mint thingy.

So I've got around to trying this as both the white dry and original extreme portions and for me it was extremely disappointing. Both had very comfortable portions and both packed quite the nic hit, but I found this very bland. I figured it was just the WD so I ordered the original and it's the same. If you buy this expecting it to have flavour like general or thunder cool mint you'll be disappointed. it has a sharp mint smell and when you use it you get a nice tingle under the lip but it never really delivers the punch of mint I was expecting.

            2/5

            Wont be ordering again

This is true of a lot of Odens flavored offerings.......they tend to be understated and subtle in the particular flavor. I find that keeping the snus at room temperature or on my person helps bring the flavoring out a bit more.

There is nothing wrong with the snus.....its just a different philosophy......Some makers aim to make a snus that taste like whatever the flavor on the can says.......Odens seems to aim more towards blending the flavoring with the tobacco to bring out certain characteristics of the tobacco.

Anyway, as a general rule, one should expect subtlety from the Odens flavored line

I normally find the opposite with odens, the cold tastes like cold, the lakrits taste like lakrits. I've been trying the new melon they got and after 10-15 min it really delivers the flavour as well.

Maybe be if they called it shiver or something instead of DOUBLE mint I wouldn't have felt so disappointed

I like Odens Extreme Cold because I can only taste a hint of the mint. Having never tried Double Mint, I guess I would expect a lot of mint, just from the name.

I swear they use natural herbal mint rather then an artificial one though as i said, I do think naming it double mint was a mistake.

But i think its pretty good and would choose this over other stronger peppermint or cold or what ever. me likes the taste of tobacco mixed with erbs. Im not much of a mint/cold/peppermint/spearmint guy

Gone through about a roll and a half of the Double Mint White Dry now. Flavor wise I think it's rather good. It's minty, but not sugary. Can keep it in for a long time without getting throat burn or anything.
The one negative I'll say is the cans are pretty light. I thought I was going through this stuff pretty fast, so I counted the portions in my last can. 13 portions in the can. No wonder it was going so fast! I like the flavor, but damn do they skimp on the contents. Won't be buying it again.

good to see you posting mate. its says there are 12 to 14 portions per tin on the info I found. Yea that sucks. Why bother with all the packaging costs for so few portions. I remember how bad it sucked when all the makers went from 24 to 20 portions....but only 13 portions is nuts.

It's not the manufacturers that are causing the portion count reduction...... it is the tax per gram of dry tobacco. Manufacturers are dropping the weight to keep their product beneath a significantly higher tax bracket where the % per dry gram of tobacco increases exponentially.........this is just another way the EU is trying to choke out harm reduction products like snus

True. Some Swedish Match portions are half the size they used to be, to keep the same number of portions per tin.

I had a very misunderstood talk with GN about this. I do not order Odens because of the short portion count, I have to pay for shipping those heavy cans. A roll with 240 portions vs a 150 portion roll. I order the maximum portion count per shipping weight. All the regulations have screwed this up.
