These are great! I have been starting the day with this, along with some coffee, and they are my after dinner snus. These seem different from what I remember the Classic being like, which I seem to recall having a slight sweetness, and a spicyness. It's been a little while since I had a classic, but I got tired of them fairly quickly it seems and I don't have any right now. But back to the ESOP, these seem very similar, maybe even exactly like Thunder OP. But it's been a week or so since I had Thunder OP, and it seems the Thunder had a stronger taste, but using this Odens ESOP daily now, it is very similar, to where I don't think I could tell the difference. But even so, I really like this, like I like the Thunder. It's a strong bold taste, with no sweetness, and a very soft comfortable portion material. I still think I like Thunder a bit more, but this is just about the same, to me. I like it.

Agree. This one was my first ever swedish snus and it has stuck with me ever since, unlike some others. One of the best combined with the morning coffee. Has a good strong flavor profile and delivers the Vitamin N. Great duration and tends to be moist right out of the can even when left out of the fridge a few days during usage.

One of my top 5 snus!

I once read the cigarette referred to as an "elegant drug delivery device." I feel like the cigarette is rather inelegant, sort of like getting high on morphine by eating a bunch of poppy seed bagels. Oden's ESOP on the other hand is THE nicotine delivery device in my opinion. Even a massive prilla of General ES Los doesn't quite hit me like one of these portions will. This is a snus for professional nicotine users. You might want a beverage to wash the juices down unless you're accustomed to drinking battery acid or baking soda. I let one of my buddies who dips Grizzly try this and they spat it out within a few minutes. Go figure.

Don't get me wrong, I love this stuff and it was only the second portion snus I tried. It's just that I'd say this has a tolerable taste rather than a phenomenal taste. I would not contend Ganje's assertions that this is the strongest snus available, as anything stronger would probably be against some sort of international treaty.

Finally got around to trying this. I've had the original, and it was kinda bland, but the extra sterk is pretty good. I second the goes well with morning coffee bit. Very strong, moist snus. I still think the Kanel is my number 1 Odens, but this one is growing on me pretty fast.

Yesterday, I reviewed Oden's Extreme Snus, and as I got to thinking, I haven't reviewed many Oden's products. I reviewed Kanel ES in the past, but that's about it. Fortunately for me, I do use Oden's Classic ES from time to time, and I just had a roll arrive last week, so I figured it was time to review it. The Oden's Snus brand actually has a pretty loyal following. There's quite a few people who use it, have always used it, and will always use it. And rightly so, it's pretty good. Outside of Grov and a few others, it's hit and miss when it comes to snuses with a simple tobacco flavor. Oden's Classic ES is one of those.

One of the coolest things about Oden's Snus is the can. Granted, there isn't a catch lid - which sucks, but it's all together a pretty nifty looking can. When you open the can a slightly sweet aroma comes through, which is also present in the taste. I know I mentioned earlier than Oden's Classic is a pure tobacco taste, so don't let that discourage you. The slight sweetness is due to the type of tobacco used in making this snus, and that's all. No added sweeteners to speak of.

The portions are a little bit bigger than average, and may come a little flat in the can, but after a little fluffing they're ready to go. They're quite soft and very comfortable in the lip. I know I complained about the size of the Skoal portions and Camel portions in the past being a bit too big, but these aren't that big. To be honest, the size is a comfort, because it prevents the snus from moving/sliding around, so I dig it. The flavor is really simple, not much to write about. It's a simple tobacco flavor, a mellow little salt balance, and a very slight sweetness due to the type of tobacco used. That's about it. That's good though, the beauty is in the simplicity! The nicotine portion weighs in at 17mg, and to be honest Oden's is one of few snuses that can knock me on my ass if I haven't been using anything of a higher nicotine content in a while. So, Oden's ES Classic is pretty good. Simple flavor, good nicotine hit, very comfortable portions. One thing I particularly like about it is the duration of the portion, I've actually kept one of these in for about 2-3 hours, which is pretty good in my book. Check it out if you haven't ever tried it. All the loyal Oden's fans definitely have a reason for liking this so much.

                    Love this stuff.

Nice soft, moist pouches. A very pleasant sweet tobacco taste and aroma. Nic hit spot on.

If you like Oden's Extreme Original you might want to try Oden's Extra Stark Original Portion. The nicotine level is about the same and the flavor is even better in my opinion.
