Got some of this as part of my free sampler from GN and the epic trivia thread, despite my beratement of him, hehehehe.

Anyway, this stuff is AWESOME. Not a big portion user but with all these free portions from GN I have been working my way through them and this is one I think I would definitely buy a roll of. It is regular strength but has the "feel" of a sterk. Damn tasty and portion material is great. In fact this might be my favorite licorice snus, portion or otherwise.

Agreed, this snus blew me away and was a huge surprise for me. The material feels great -- must be something about the oil content of the flavoring? I don't know but it's different from the other GN products in the way it feels, in my opinion. The flavor is very complex and sophisticated, for lack of a better description.

Edit: to be clear we are talking about the new Odens Lakrits by GN, not the old one under Gajane. Chad set up this thread for the latter I reckon, back in 2009.

I've heard since Conny from Swedish Match went to GN the quality of their products has gotten better. Haven't had any GN in a while to compare but I'll have to check it out soon.

Swedish Match can go to hell The only time I use their stuff is when I run out and have to go buy an $8.75 can of crappy General. There might be a bias to this post but to hell with that too

I've heard it's noticeable from a few people, have you changed any recipes or the types of tobacco used?

There is no way I think things would get worse! Conny has worked the magic for years, imagine being set free to explore something new! Conny leaves and they cancel SM Harvest, may be true that there is not enough leaf, but I think the blending Maestro has left the building...............
