This isn't a bad snus. I can tell its made by V2, because it tastes like a mix between phantom brown and phantom classic. I detect the sweet and spicy notes from the brown with a hint of citrus.

I'm very new to snus, but I've tried lös varieties of Ettan classic, Landströms. I love Oden's classic, and I think it may become my new regular brand; more research necessary.

I find it very easy to bake, with just enough punch, flavour, and salt - but not too much of either. I get some nice cedar and coffee aromas from this tobacco, and I find myself "mmmmMMmmmmm"ing more with it than other brands.

      I highly recommend this snus!

I'm not really a los aficionado, but this is pretty good by my reckoning. Pleasant taste, decentnic hit, and REALLY easy to manage. I grabbed a hillbilly pinch and threw it in and pushed it up with my tongue, bang, job done - easy as you like. Glad I got this, and will definitely get it again.

WOW this stuff is great. I not good doing reviews, so I will just say there is no taste I have ever had in a snus like this one. A very clean tobacco taste, I note a little pepper but not like the pepper I get from some of the more expensive Brands (I like that).
In a above post I noticed somebody said they could tell it was made by V2. I don't know who makes it but this I have was sent to me by Mr GN.
It is a very good tasting, easily formed into a pris or portioned out by a Icetool snus, the flavor of this pris I just made has stuck together over an hour and still taste good. I poke every thing I use with my tongue and this stuffs flavor cannot be beat. If you like a plain simple tobacco flavor, get Ya some. ODENS CLASSIC LOS!!!!!!!!

I happened to think I have some 2010 Kardus Superior Blend 2010 Snus in the freezer. I took it out This Odens Original Los smells a lot like it and it taste a lot like it. The difference is the cut of the Kardus is a lot coarser and stringyer, and the Odens is a lot cheaper.

BTW the Kanel Classic is also good if You like a little bit of cinnamon spice.

It seems to me, Oden's is moving to have all their items made by GN.
I noticed this new can for Oden's Original Portions on getsnus:
            http://www.getsnus.com/en/snus/GetSn...Portion-33558/
That's a GN can. Also the "Made in Sweden" on them is different than the V2 made Oden's.

I was wondering about that myself... I saw it on Northerner the other day. I had no clue Oden's was made by someone other than GN...interesting.

I've had the V2 made Oden's los, and their other items.
So far, wth GN, I've had the Oden's Extreme Portions, and Olde Viking Original Portions and Ginger Lime(which I didn't care for).

I just can't enjoy los, as my top teeth are just too uneven, but I have tried quite a lot.

Is the new Oden's a lot different than the old. I haven't been able to try it because I refuse to pay the WA state tobacco tax when buying online. That pretty much rules out The Northerner.

I believe there are two separate tobaccos being reviewed here. Odens Original Classic Los is a plain tobacco snus. Odens Original Los is flavored with bergomot.

I have only had the Original Classic, but I believe they have made or plan to make the Original (doesnt say classic on the can) which has bergomot.

So I opened this snus and to my surprise it smelled super smoky. So smoky. I haven’t seen a recent review and I was expecting a trad flavor snus a la General or Granit…and yeah. But make it smoked.

Let’s start with the positives: 40g tin for a really great price. Baked well and is reminiscent of the old v2 consistency, but fluffier. Good bergamot flavor and nice salt level. Comfortable in the lip for the first two minutes, but that is all I could handle.

                        The smoke…

                        Oh god the smoke…

I tried it and couldn’t hang, it irritated me super bad. I started choking on the smoke flavor and had to spit it out.

Mama didn’t raise no quitter so I aired it out…for like six hours, tried it again and it choked me out again. I can’t hang with this snus.

This is honestly a great snus but the smoke flavor kills it for me -personally- and that is just my reaction. As I have gotten older smoke flavor has become more of an irritant to me (and certain perfumes, colognes, and whatever I’m allergic to here in Florida).

You like General? Try it out. It’s really good despite my reaction to it, and if the smoke did not irritate my throat it would honestly be a roll buy. General does the same thing to me nd I find it less smoky (even the white portions).

                        Odens…babygirl, I’m sorry we can’t be together…

                        It’s not you, it’s me.
