Love it. This is the base I use for flavoring and portioning my own. I love the straight tobacco flavor, it lasts a long time, and of course has a high nicotine content. The is pretty much the only snus I use.

To quote Jed Clampett "Well doggies". I put a 4 click pris in and wow oh wow. That was the best buzz I've felt from all the ones I've tried los or double barrel portions. Some of the others leaned towards towards just making me feel bad not buzzing.

The flavor was tolerable and it didn't pack as good as the General loose or Ettan and Prima I tried but I really enjoyed the nic buzz better than anything I've had.

My god this stuff kicks in. My friend brought me 5 cans of this instead of Skruf stark and I thought Oden's couldn't be that much stronger than other starks but I was So wrong.. I put in usual 4 mark under my lip and in 10 minutes I was in the wildest nicotine rush I've been (although I've been snusing almost 2 years). I think I won't be trying this stuff again for a while now..

I mostly like this snus - it's kind of a plain tobacco flavour, but with one hell of a nic kick.

The only downside is that I occasionally get a hint of mushroom flavour, which to me isn't ideal in a snus......it's only in the background and only sometimes, but....

Yeah I did that, eventually. Still it made my throat so dry and "sticky" so I had to sell 2 cans away.. And also I prefer having a nice, big lipfull instead of little prillas

I recently just tried this. I'm not a los fan, still am not. I just don't find it comfortable in the mouth. But I currently only have 1 can of los, and it was in the freezer, and it was this, so I opened it a few days ago. It's a little past the can date, so I don't know if that's why, but it's a little dry. I might add some water, but it's not unusable. Anyway, I did 2 times with the Prismaster. It was OK. Then this morning, I just grabbed some with my hand and stuck in my mouth and pushed it up with my tongue, and in a few moments, I had a strong nic hit. It didn't do that with the Prismaster pris at all. Whoah!

But overall, I prefer the portions of this. To me, it is near, if not, identical to Thunder OP.

The flavor is hard to describe, really deep and heavy, and bold. Not like Grov or Ettan at all.

UPDATE: While it is strong, and gives a nic hit, I must say I don't like it. I don't like how it tastes, and I don't like how it feels in the mouth. Yet the portions, I do like.

If I could, I would make love to this snus. If I were LaZeR, I'd have figured it out by now. Great medium grind, never "pasty" like General can be, no BS in the flavor (just straight tobacco, certainly no mushroom for me like in adm's review), and IMO virtually nothing like Thunder Original in los or portions (like Tom's review). If I could only have 1 snus, Odens ES los and portion would be it. I'm getting painfully close to that as it is. I start worrying when I have 2 cans of this left yet plenty of great snus on hand.

Oden's ES Portion was my very first snus and it was truly romantic. I can only imagine what this lös must be like. Mmmmmmmmm

I got hold of Oden's Original Extra Stark Loose snus finally (waiting for it was not easy but patience pays off.. always!). I have so many good impressions associated with this odenssnus.com order, what shall I begin with...
First, I was surprised that the order came in a cardboard box (two rolls have been ordered) and was not wrapped in a sheet of cheap UPS foil... I have a collection of replacement can lids to replace the broken ones on snus cans because of damage occurred due to improper packaging. Not the case with odenssnus.com.

So... I decided to try Oden's Original Extra Stark Loose in the evening, while on the couch watching telly. I knew it is a strong snus. To fully uncover its potential I deliberately abstained from any snus from 7.30 pm. The trial was scheduled for 10.00 pm. I was already getting mild withdrawal symptoms at the time I sampled it.

The very first impression one gets of a snus comes from the can. This is a beautiful can but there is still room for improvement. Oden's name in gothic writing really stands out of the crowd but the other elements like the viking sword and forest animals are barely noticeable. I would love to see these stand out too. As I cracked the can open I noticed how tightly it is sealed. Best before dates are in mid October. With the snus sealed so well in a can it will probably last for much longer than that.
I'll give the can 10 points out of 10. Well done, GN Tobacco!

When I opened the can I was greeted with a sweaty smell of high quality tobacco followed by a milder hint of ammonia in the background. The smell reminded me of the hand made cigar my dad once brought me from a trip to Cuba. An outstanding blend of excellent tobaccos. I also noticed how moist the snus was, it came straight from the factory, I rarely had my snus as fresh as this. I did not taste any citrus notes some reviewers have described.

OK, now comes the most important part, the actual tasting. I grabbed my icetool and with my hands trembling (I am of course exaggerating at this point but the initial impression left me very impatient to start snus it at last), filled it with snus (2 mark points) and voila.. here I am snusing Oden's Original Extra Stark Loose. Long wait but finally happy.

How shall I describe the taste and nic hit.... I can hardly find a word for that other than "heavenly". Nic withdrawal symptoms I had inflicted on myself were gone in 5 minutes. Nicotine uptake takes place fast enough to cure the most extreme of nic cravings but slow enough not to smack you in the face. It is perfectly balanced like everything else about this snus.

Oh man, this thing is powerful BUT it does not hit you like M1 Abrams, it satisfies you like professional Thai girl during erotic massage session.

I felt my energies rising and my mind cleared up. What a rewards at the end of a stressful day.

I'll give GN 10 points out of 10 on the nic!

The taste of this snus seems to last forever. 40 minutes into the pris and I could easily get a flavor burst simply by touching the pris by my tongue. Again, the flavor is not strong and it is not weak, it is perfectly balanced.

45 minutes into the pris: nic uptake slows down but does not stop altogether. It allows my body to adjust to a stronger snus without overpowering the senses.

I removed the pris in one hour, my usual snusing time for Los. I realized that I could perhaps handle a longer session with this snus but I did not want to, it was getting late and I still did not feel like going to bed.

I realized that this is the snus I want to start and end my day with, a must have in my snus supply. I am not sure I would recommend to chainsnus Oden's Original ES Loose, it is strong but unlike with other ES that I've tried, in one hour after I trashed the pris I felt like having more.

I'll give oden's ES Original Loose 10/10 for quality, taste and nicotine hit. This is an excellent snus. As a non Swedish day to day snuser with 7 years of experience I think I have enough authority to say that this product is one of the best snuses currently produced in Sweden.
If you love Ettan, Grov or Phantom Brown you can safely order a roll of it, you won't regret it. The price is very good too at the moment, I would not hesitate to stock up with this snus especially in these hard and uncertain times.
