N&J crushed ice. dam they have a winner here. Even if you don't like mint or wintergreen this is some dam good stuff. Has a real earthy tobacco taste and a great but weird cool taste. Its a great combo thats really hard to describe and will make the wintergreen haters convert, tho I'm not saying this is wintergreen. This is my second favorite snus yet!! Ya'll have to try it. and I have a few rolls in stock right now.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I'll be getting some of this tomorrow and updating with a review... I'm a huge Jak's mint fan and I'm hoping this is a good as it sounds.

Its way better than Jaks mint. I just wanted to come back and mention something. I know there are people that don't like mint or wintergreen. I highy recommend that you try this snus but you need to eave it in for about 10 minutes. The strong mint taste tapers off quickly and in place of that is a wonderfull earthy tobacco taste with a hint of something else, tho not sure how to desribe it. I have to admit that when I first opened the tin I was turned off by the strong mint smell. I popped in a portion anyways and within a few minutes I was very happy. Check it out for yourself sometime.Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

Got my can this morning. I have to say I am a bit disappointed. As I've said, I'm quite a big N&J and Jak's Mint fan, and I was hoping this would be in the same ballpark as Jak's Mint...seems quite the contrary.
Opening the can, I got that nice fresh snus ammonia smell, followed swiftly by a predominantly wintergreen and very slightly minty odor. The first thing that came to mind was Grizzly wintergreen dip. This stuff has the exact same smell. Unfortunately for me, I am not a huge wintergreen fan, in fact I quite dislike it... pretty sure I still have an opened can of Jak's Wintergreen in the freezer I never finished off.
Portions are slightly plump, somewhat similar to Gotland's standard pillow-sized portions. The portions fit nicely under the lip and have the perfect amount of moisture added to them...they are quite similar to the portions in the Jakobssons line, although not quite as big or fluffy.
Comparatively, the flavor was what you would expect if there was a snus that was 80% Jak's Wintergreen and 20% Jak's Mint. Wintergreen seemed to take the limelight in this one, followed with a hint of mint...completely off base from what I was expecting with a name like Crushed Ice Strong Mint, although to it's defense I was expecting something with a bold mint flavor like Jak's Mint...or even General Mint. The portions are not too sweet and the flavor is fresh. Flavor lasted about 30-45 minutes for me before it began tapering off.
Overall I found this to be quite a good snus, although it is not my cup of tea...luckily I made a small order to try some snus out before I blindly bought a roll. Nic hit is good, once again in comparing it with a similar snus, it is on par with the nic of a Jak's Strong portion. Unfortunately there are only 22 portions per can, although the label reads 'Snus 24g'. If you like wintergreen flavor, I would definitely recommend this stuff. While it is a nice product, I won't be purchasing anymore anytime soon.

Been going through this today, will do a review tonight but so far I'm observing the same as everyone else. It has a wintergreen aroma, and has a taste of mixing mint and wintergreen but with the earthy taste that exists in hints in the Nick And Johnny Strong portion carrying through in this one as well, most likely from the tobacco blend used.
It is a pretty good, unique tasting snus.

Review from my blog.
-----
When I first heard about this I had mixed thoughts. One - did the snusworld REALLY need another mint snus? And two - Okay, maybe it could be good. After all - a strong mint snus is a welcome addition, currently the crown held by Thunder Frosted for strongest mint snus could use a new contender. Selection is always good, and variety is never a bad thing. The new cans look a lot like the classic dark gold colored Nick & Johnny cans, but made a little more edgy, having almost a hard/punk rock like feel to it, even rocking the classic devil horns - the universal sign of rocking out. So is the snus inside as cool as the cans make it seem? It is pretty good! It's different than any mint snus I've ever tried, that's for sure.
When I first opened the can (and as several other reviewers have noted) a really interesting thing happens. The aroma of wintergreen comes through, followed behind by a little spearmint aroma with an almost herbal like quality to it, much like the Jakobsson's Mint. The portions are very dark and moist and very comfortable in the lip along with a nice little tingle and a cooling sensation. The taste of this is really interesting. I went through a half a can of it yesterday and I got the same thing everything. The flavor seems to start with a presence of wintergreen, then develops into a sparmint taste, then settles into a nice traditional mint taste much like General Mint. There is a very nice herbal quality to this snus and a noticable taste of earthy tobacco in the background, much like the classic Nick & Johnny Snus. It packs a nice little nic kick, and the flavor endures for quite sometime, I've been able to keep these in for the 1.5 hour mark and still have lots of flavor to enjoy. So in the end, it's a pretty good tasting snus with a really unique flavor. The blending of all those different qualities make this snus stand alone in the taste department.

Very interesting snus. I see it being a really good morning snus with coffee. Chad's review is spot on. Can might just be the coolest can ever! Nic hit is good, and has a long lasting flavor.... that changes. It mellows out to a more traditional flavor. It's like the Camel Crush of the snus world!
