I'm pretty much with Ansel on this.

I didn't like the 'chocolate candy' taste and they didn't hit hard enough for me.

Do you think they've sweetened it for the US market, despite it not being available to the US? *rolls eyes*

Been tempted to get a can or two to try it, and I think I still will, but the whole thing just smacks of a cash in on the brand name.

I tend to think that. Same with Camel snus. The only one that tasted remotely like what I remembered the cigarettes tasting like to me was Lucky Strike.

That's odd - I can't taste any real sweetness (as in sugar) in the portions and I'm squeezing one under my top lip at the moment! There is/was a definite sweetness with Claq Qui, Röda Lacket, Göteborgs Rapé etc. - but I find this less sweet. However it has vanilla flavouring which is a sweet smell and I find it a bit sickly in a snus. That's why I hated Grov Black.

I totally agree with regards the over-flavouring though. It seems to be a problem with the ones with cigarette branding, I find them OK, but generally too highly flavoured. They know they are going to sell a certain number of cans guaranteed on the branding. Not sure why that means they go down that route flavour-wise, maybe it is more likely to appeal to cigarette smokers?

True Göteborgs Rapé is sweeter but for me this seemed too artificial a sweetness.

Lucky Strike is a decent enough snus. I have a roll on the go at the moment, but when it's gone I don't think I'll buy it again, as there's nothing that distinctive about it other than it's too bulky can. There are so many good Swedish brands that I feel like a marketing patsy for buying into big-name cigarette brands.

I've popped one in and i'm enjoying it so it can be quite as bad as i thought it was.
