05 is a white portion (which is unique, as 01/02 were the original/white new type portion invented for the Lab Series which was a "Non-Drip" formula). It is also the thinner type long portion. The can has the familiar Lab Series icons - Non Drip, Strength, Long, and something new - "Pure White". The portions are very white but with dark moist tobacco inside - they look a lot like standard SM white portions. The aroma was very complex. A dark, rich tobacco aroma with floral notes and a very herbal like quality that reminds me of the recently discontinued Cl!ck. The mouthfeel is very comfortable, long portions always feel very natural in the lip. A very natural tobacco taste comes on in the beginning, but develops to have a natural earthy taste that reminds me of 01 at times. The one thing that keeps hitting me though is Cl!ck for some reason - as there is a very herbal taste in the background mixed in with a rich, dark tobacco taste. The tastes lasts for a long time and mellows out to a nice well rounded tobacco taste. Average nicotine hit, doesn't hit too hard, so this would be enjoyable even if you're not a fan of strong portions/sterks.

So far of the ones I've tried recently, 05/06 and General Green Harvest - I really like 05. It reminds me a lot of Click, which was fantastic, but comes in a long portion. Even with a higher nicotine content, it feels about average. 05 would be a reorder. 06 was a tad too strong for me.

I don't notice the difference between 05 and 06. I thought it would be stronger.
It's pretty nice though. 05 is just WP and 06 is OP

To me 05 and 06 tastes the same. However nic is too much with 06 so I had to remember to take it out after 15 minutes and store it in the used portion section of the can and then wait at least 30 minutes before putting it back in my mouth. That procedure made it very economical, but I kept forgettig to take it out and it always gave me a slight headache every time I left it in too long. Therefore, I much prefer the lower nicotine of the 05. However, both have a very pleasant flavor.

So, about a year or so ago, I was pretty much exclusively using 01 and 02, and then the EU sh*tstorm hit and I couldn't get it any more. I loved the flavour and portion size of lab series, but found 01 a bit mild, and 02 a bit strong.

Around this time, they announced 05 Strong White, which I figured would have been the perfect balance, having always preferred the nic delivery of sterk whites to sterk regulars.

Finally got myself a can of 05, and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. There's the great lab series flavour, the perfect SM long portion size, and the pleasant slow-release white portion sterk nicotine hit.

I'll be buying this stuff by the roll. Hallelujah.

I like the Lab Series as a whole. The portions actually sit a bit higher, slide less and are more comfortable in the lip. The flavor is pretty good but, to me anyway, have a bit of an oatmeal flavor about an hour into them. Not horrible mind you but, it's there.

05 I like to use at work because the portion is much more discreet and really doesn't drip. :-)
