Well, I said earlier that I would pick some up and I did. Enjoy.

As I've mentioned before, my first taste of "snus" came courtesy of Camel Frost. After finding my way to the real deal, there has been no turning back.

Onto the Nordic Mint. Upon opening the can (if that's what you want to call it), I noticed a very familiar scent. Sure enough, my mind flooded immediately with Camel Frost. I was anxious to test it out to see how it compared to my once beloved frost. The pouches are smaller than normal General portions, but they retain a soft and comfortable feel to it. Immediately I noticed that the snus was very moist, unlike Camel's version. The portions look like white portions, but I've noticed they are not labeled as such on Northerner. I feel like they are at a crossroads between original portions and white. It's actually a nice medium. I popped in a portion and let it sit, while I absorbed the flavors. No salt, no smoke flavor, nothing but a very sweet mint. The flavor is more pronounced than Camel Frost. It hits you instantly whereas I find that Camel takes a few minutes to settle in. As far as the nic hit, I found it to be pretty much nonexistant. It really didn't do anything for me. Supposedly its 7mg, but I can't tell. I couldn't really keep it in very long either without getting a sickening feeling in my stomach. If you can still manage to enjoy Camel Frost, I'm sure you would like this one. In comparison to Camel, Nordic Mint wins, but not by much. The flavors are very similar (both are overly sweet), however the portions are where General takes the cake. The can also includes a catch lid, which is lacking on the Camel tins. I realize this is Generals attempt at tapping the American "snus" market and I applaud them for the effort. If nothing else, I'll view this snus as a stepping stone towards a wider range of availability for other General products in B&M shops. I've also got a can of the classic blend, I can't say I'm excited to try it though.
