    Roda Lacket (Loose)

Loose Roda Lacket seems even more toned-down than the portions. I didn't care for the portions because of the fruity flavor, but it's much subtler loose. Instead, it seems to have a smokey tobacco flavor similar to what I find (and love) in loose Ettan, but with just the slightest fruity sweetness. Bakes easy and holds its shape for as long as I can keep my tongue away from it (not long).

For what it's worth, Roda Lacket is also an anagram of Cold Karate.

Roda loose buffaloed me at first U.S. Made much too large a pris first time around and it chewed me up so I spit it out. Halved the pris size and piquant snusy glory was at hand.

Oh yeah the best anagram I could find for UsualSnuspects is; Anus Cusp Tussle.

Oh yeah the second; Only decent one I could find for my screen name is a tad dull; Inward.

Oh yeah the third; 1000th post.

Roda los has been one of my all time favorites since the start. I was a Camel smoker who liked that slight sweetness to the Turkish blend and Roda just fit perfect.

Just had a pris of this in when I saw this thread. It's also one of the first löses that I had - and although it doesn't have all the fruitiness of it's portion brother - it is a beautiful muted berry flavour under the tobacco taste which I always think is the flavoured version to Göteborgs Prima Fint's plain version - they're very close in flavour.

Sure - it turns in to a mudslide for me quicker than most like all fine-cut snus does - but the flavour is a classic.

it happens to be the next los I'm taking out of cold storage and I'm doing that tonight. I much prefer the los, so much that I won't buy portions anymore. It tastes more like tobacco...and the consistency. yeah, it's great!

This is a good solid snus and has been in my regular rotation now for years.

Not only that............Roda is one of the few snuses that gets better after the tin has been opened for a day or two.

                  SJ,

To me Roda tastes a lot like the first batch of Pioneer (Pioneer was Roda with the plums amped up a few notches)....I read your post on another thread about wishing you could have tasted the original Pioneer...........Roda will give you a pretty good idea of what you missed..............in an even better version of it....... IMHO

Roda taste is really good and fine grind makes it easy to bake. On the other hand it slides a lot.
After putting a pris, I have to keep poker face because with every laugh etc. I smear it across my teeth.
After 45 minutes 1/3 of pris is already eaten

I won't even mention sneezing with Roda packed in Your mouth

Hahaha, been there! Skruf stark and Grov aren't as fine so I find stay put a bit easier.

RL on the other hand is almost pure snus perfection IMO, I love it like a child, Claq Qui was my snus nirvana so a double portion of RL or a huge pris of loose gets the job done.

That's what forums are good for. I haven't had any of my Roda Lacket since I bought in Winte when I first started. Just about forgot about it all hidden in the freezer. Nice when posts inspire you to want to try something and you already have it! Free delivery! Ha ha

RL is the only los I've tried, and I was a bit surprised that the flavor was so slow to develop. After two rolls of the white portions I may never have the patience to try again.

If I'd based my opinion on the portions I'm not 100% sure that I would have tried the los,but I'm not really a portion lover so my opinion is perhaps a little biased.Roda Lacket los is a very different animal to the portion and presents as very sophisticated in comparison.Absolute perfection and heaven in a can...

This is a winner for me. Minimal salt content, good sweetness, with some dried fruit flavor. It becomes a little bitter after a while in the lip but it's pleasant. Roll worthy!
