    General USA vs Sweden

Hello everyone, I've been seeing General more and more in the US at tobacco shops and convenient stores. I noticed on the bottom of the can that it says "for sale in USA only." I'm assuming this is due to General's caution regarding snus bans in many countries? I was wondering if anybody knows whether or not the General sold in the USA is made with the exact same Gothiatek standards? Is General in America exactly the same as it is in sweden?

    Thanks,
    Kevin

Yes. All Swedish Match snus is made using the same strict GothiaTek standards no matter where it is sold or marked for distribution.

I'll second that Chad. All Swedish Match products, as far as we know, are made in Sweden and shipped to the US as well. The GothiaTek standard is something exclusive to Swedish Match which states the strict manufacturing standards they set for themselves. All other snus manufacturers follow the same standards which are also the Swedish Food safety standards.
