New flavor from N&J. About 3/4 of the way through the can of this stuff.
First off, the can is interesting. It's very streamlined. When I first grabbed the can out of my box, I almost thought I messed up and bought some mini's. But, alas! They weren't.
The catch lid is actually a lot roomier than most cans I can think of as well. Normally I can fit about 4 used portions in a lid. This thing could easily fit 6 or 7.
Portion wise, they're standard, premium snus brand pouches. No worry of breaking seams. Tobacco is moist, but not dripping. Maybe a bit more moist than is typical, but it could just be a really fresh batch.
Flavor wise, this stuff is actually a citrus blend. It almost smells, and tastes, a bit like green apple to me. I've never eaten a cactus (wtf?), so I can't really comment on that, but there is something almost....floral, or maybe earthy, to it. Somewhat makes me think of green plants, but it's a compliment to the citrus flavor. It is a bit sweeter than I expected from N&J, somewhat like their Crushed Ice flavor. That 'sweet without tasting sugary' thing. Kinda like Thunder Frosted in that way.
All in all, I think it's a pretty good flavor. I don't often pay premium prices, but if I find rolls of this on sale, or as my '6th roll' on buysnus, I'd totally buy a roll of it. Might even throw in a can or two on orders from time to time just for something different that I know is good.
