Ok, so after trying to other snus's, and getting used to snus, I decided to go back to the very first thing I bought, the white try-and-buy snus box from Swedish Match. I feel as though I'm warming up to snus and felt like trying something new. The one that jumped out in my mind that I thought I would try first was the White Catch Eucalyptus. For a 3rd snus, this is an excellent continuance in transition from American to Swedish Snus. There is an IMMEDIATE taste of mint and an IMMEDIATE taste of eucalyptus. But it's not overbearing or strong. It's a very gentle blend. And just out of the freezer, WOW. It is evening freshening up my breath, haha. I think...maybe it's just the mint going to my brain. The portions are right between the mini mint and ice fruit that I've had. So it's a comfortable little portion that fits right where it needs to in my lip. No immediate strong buzz, but I got a nice little mellow buzz (it's the first snus I've had today for that reason, I wanted to see how it did in the morning). So I'm definitely impressed by this one, this one is now also going to be in my regular rotation. As far as a beginners snus, I strongly recommend it.
I really like this snus as well. It has a nice blend of mint and tobacco flavors. I gave this to a friend who was trying to ween himself off of smoking and it was a big hit with him as well.

Eucalyptus-Menthol was one of the first snus I tried and it's still one of my favorites a year later.
I'm not sure where the other reviewers are getting it, but there is no real "mint" taste in this product. I think they may be confusing mint with menthol. This product has a taste of menthol similar to a Hall's cough drop, so that may come out to some people as "minty". But don't expect this to taste like a General Mini-Mint, Camel Frost, or other mint-like snus.
Although I love this stuff, it can produce a pretty nasty drip at times. Although it's usually fine, there have been plenty of times where I can't have one in for more than 10-15 minutes because of the drip.
That being said, there is no other snus out there with the menthol flavor profile at the moment. Maybe Catch has done it so well others just don't bother trying to compete.

Tristik, I'm not one to question anyone's fortitude, but if the drip from
Catch Eucalyptus is too strong for you, maybe you need to think about
quitting.
First off, I love mint snus. But this one I just couldnt get into. Its ok once in a while. I associate the flavor with Vick's Vape-O-Rub, maybe thats the problem. I get a really sickly mint taste from it, enough to where Ive thrown the rest of my cans on the exchange. Ill take Gen Wintergreen or Thunder Frosted over this anyday. The first few portions were ok, but then this turned into the one and only snus to ever turn on me, and it did so with a vengance..... 2 stars.
Just my opinion, everyone has different tastes.
This snus (along with the can of Catch Licorice) may be the first can I can't bother to finish. I don't see the point of it. Mildly sour is how I would describe the taste, doesn't taste like tobacco, mild eucalyptus but no where near as strong as I would hope. I may hand them off to one of my new snus convert friends while they wait for their first orders to arrive, just so they don't go to waste.
I am still new to swedish snus, and this was on my first order. I really enjoy it. It tasted a little minty (not much) and for some reason I love it with iced tea. Only gripe is from someone trying to quit a pack a day cigarette habit I didn't find the nicotine quite enough for me.
White portions, low salt.
The taste of the eucalyptus is almost a 50/50 balance with the mild tobacco. Almost get the astringent taste of the eucalyptus but not quite. The flavor is more of a tease then an in your face affair.
Puts me in mind of the taste that develops in your throat when you have something like Vicks smeared on your chest.
Im not quite sure what drew me into this flavor. I think it was a combination of the cool packaging and the strange idea that Eucalyptus would be a good flavor. I was a bit disappointed with this one. Initially, the flavor is, well definitely very Eucalyptus. Not in the cough drop kinda way, but in a fresh, essential oil diffuser, (if that makes sense) kinda way. It loses flavor quickly, and the flavor that remains for the rest of the portion is hard to describe, but not something I liked too much. Also, there is not enough nic in the portion, and after throwing one of these in, I was still craving another. I wont write this off as a bad flavor per-say, but I doubt I'll buy it again. I have two cans of this, and imagine they will probably be among the last I go through.
