I am new to snus, but love the GES! I only use it in the afternoon as a boost...not an all day snus. I either use roda lacket, skruf stark, or general original during the day.. The GES is kind of like a stiff cup of coffee when you need it.

Chad, you finally got around to my favorite.

I've tried quite a few different brands since I've started using snus, but GES was the first and is still my pick. I still have about twelve open cans of various brands, and I pull from them occasionally, but GES is my daily.

I always toss in a portion and drink two cups of coffee before breakfast. Then throughout the day I have about eight or nine more portions. Love it!

It's a good pick me up on the drive to work in the morning. Goes well with a full travel mug of mud.

I have tried this in los and in portions. Los here is a pure winner. Great mouthfeel, peppery with some citrus high notes that compliment, not bury, the natural tobacco flavor and it really packs a punch. If you are looking for a snus with great flavor that you can really feel this is it.

On my 3rd can of General Ekstra Sterk lös. I have used the General regular lös for years and I really like the Ekstra Sterk version.

A pretty good snus, though a little too peppery on the back of the throat for my taste. General products are usually a little pepery, but for some reason this one really seems to irritate my throat. :shock: The good thing about it is the kick, but Id rather throw in some Thunder if thats what I need. :P 4 stars.

Got this in a trade, and I enjoy it. I like the portion shape, it seems smaller to me than most other General portions but that could just be me. The flavor is about the same as GOP but it is noticeably stronger.

I love these for when I need a pick me up or occasionally as a first-of-the-day snus, but I find the pepperyness isn't as well balanced as it is in the regular strength general products. Still has the same citrusy notes and salt content, but just doesn't seem as "right" to me. I prefer the loose GES and use it a couple times a day, but the portions are still good. For anybody who likes General but wants a bit more pepper and nicotine, this is a great choice.

General Ekstra Sterk Portions are a powerhouse in the flavor and nicotine department. The pungent odor mainly comprises of strong tobacco with hints of citrus and pepper. Soon after placing the portion in the gums, a nice burning sensation will ensue, due to the high nicotine and pH level. Compared to other strong products on the market, GES takes the cake; the nicotine hit is powerful and swift, while remaining long lasting at the same time. The flavor is the only negative aspect of this snus. While the initial notes of the tobacco are pleasant, it soon becomes overwhelming with bitterness and tart undertones. Don't plan on being in close proximity to other people while using GES, since it causes terrible breath, even more so than other extra strong snus brands. Anyone looking for a quick nicotine fix should give GES Portions a try, but beware the bitter and overwhelming flavor.

I'm craving another can of this stuff right now. I'll definitely throw a couple in with my next order. The taste and the nic hit will both knock you on your ass, just how I like it. Very salty, very peppery, very good...

EDIT: I concur that GES will make you feel sick on an empty stomach. Grab some breakfast before you start your day out with one of these bad boys.
