I only ordered two cans of the portions.. I really wish I added the Los too.

I tried the los when i first started and it was a little too much for me. Not the nic but the burn on my lips and gums. It could also be because i didn't know what I was doing and was shoving dip sized pinches in my mouth. But the portions enabled me to quit smoking immediately. It was in the first set of cans I opened when I first tried true snus. Ive been wondering why i havent ordered any since. I ordered a roll of the longs hoping that it would be similar but a different shape but unfortunately it wasn't. The taste of the GES portions can't be beat!

Let me know if you want to do a trade or something. I should be well stocked with this snus for quite a while and I don't live far from San Antonio.

Its like having a los verison of Onyx...simply delicious and the nicotine is there too. One warning, this stuff doesn't need to be made into a huge prilla, I used lil over half a gram and got a nic hit a tid bit strong than Onyx. I don't see myself making anything over 3/4 a gram per prilla as ekstra sterk portions tend to make me a bit nauseous.
I say, if you like General los and want some more nicotine, General Ekstra Sterk los is the way to go my friends!

I would agree that this is probably as close as it comes to an Onyx los, with slightly more citrus flavor and no subtle lemon notes. This stuff is quite amazing though, definitely my favorite los. It packs nicely, tastes amazing, nic hit is very subtle yet extremely satisfying, and can last for hours. This is the only los that seems to really dry my mouth up though, if I have a prilla before bed I usually end up waking up with a dry mouth, seems to be slightly more salt than the average los, although it does not downplay the flavor at all. This will probably be the first snus I buy a roll of simply because I can never have enough of it. At first I wasn't sure about it for whatever reason, but I kept using it all the time... now I can't get enough. I recommend putting the los in a general portion can so it seals up better, as this stuff dries out relatively quickly in the fridge due to the Swedish Match fiberboard cans. In the portion can it lasts easily 3-4x longer, and stays as fresh as the day it arrived.

I have here in front of me a can of General Ekstra Sterk Los. Never had it before. This is an initial review in real time.
Can: nice looking design apart from the stickers Northener stuck on it, which I peeled off, ot tried to peel off, NORTHERNER, please at least try and get some easy-peel off stickers. And I just recently got this can and the date is already 3-22-11 on it. C'mon! I mean, at least throw in an extra can(of anything) to make up for it. I miss the original getsnus.
OK, I'm going to open it. I've had it in the freezer since I got it, and moved it to the fridge last night. Here we go. Smells nice. The smell and look of it seems about like regular General. Nasal snuff at times affects my nose, and I did some last night, and I'm a little stuffy, so it may affect my review here. But, oh well, I think I'm good for it. Let's hand bake a prilla and see. I also have some coffee here, and just got out of bed, so I am doing the "Wake and Bake".
OK, it's in. Slight burn I think. Has a nice bold taste, pleasant, seems a bit bolder than the regular, I think I'm getting a lemon like taste. I haven't had any ES snus in a while so I'm wondering if I'll have a noticeable hit. I recall the portions of this I had said Norweigian Edition on the can, and I don't see that on this one. I'm not sure if I am feeling a more pronounced nic hit, being myself weak and worthless addicted to a weed with no medical purposes.... taking my time, gonna browse snuffhouse a little bit....
Well, I still haven't gotten a big nic hit, I guess that's just chasing the dragon anyway, it's been a while since I got that anyway, but as it is, this is very good. It does satisfy. And I think I like the bold flavor more than the original General, which is very good itself.
Overall.... it's good. Maybe I am still affected by the distinctness of the Pioneer I have been using, but the GES is very nice itself, and I can't say anything negative about it. Just a good solid los, with a nice bold taste, and I think I might feel a slight nic increase feeling compared to the original los. Sure, it's good, I like it. Doesn't blow me away with any distinctiveness or boom nic. Tastes good, goes well with my coffee. What more can I say, slightly disappointed being ES I thought I'd really feel it, but that just may be me.

GES is one of my favorites. The nic hit I find good, but it can very. Overall though I find the taste and feel of it superb to many brands including regular general. I consider this roll worthy for an order and being ES you can bake smaller prillas for discretion, it stays together well. I will say pinching and tossing this one will hit you hard and fast. My experience on that last point of course.

This is some absolutely amazing stuff. It's very easy to bake, and sticks together pretty good as well (as long as you're not there with your tongue all the time), and the flavor is outstanding. It's a pretty dark tobacco flavour; darker than the regular General Loose. It's got a balanced citrus taste, and has a hint of licorice in the background.
Since this is an extra strong snus, it packs quite a buzz. Not overwhelmingly powered, but you can definitely feel it. I find this snus absolutely perfect after a meal for example.
If you don't like stronger snus, you can still use this and just make the prilla smaller. The can will last very long if you do so.
This is one of my favorite snus out there, for sure. If you haven't tried it, do it!

GES is hard to beat.
I used to like it a little, but for a while when I could only get SM products I became a huge fan. It has a flavor that is not overly exciting but never tiring, making it perfect for my everyday snus. I transfer the snus to one of the orginal Lucky Strike cans for extended freshness.
While I enjoy a lot of different snus, if I could only have one it would probably be GES. I get bored with other flavors pretty quickly.

A solid product. The taste seems to vary every day I use it. Some days, the sweet rose is predominant; others the black pepper taste of the tobacco; others the bergamot and anis funkiness. At 14mg/g it's not the strongest snus out there but it satisfies my needs. Sometimes I feel myself getting sick of it, but only for a couple of hours haha.

I have experienced the flavor changes also! Sometimes it taste more like anise than others and sometimes citrus comes through a lot. The strength is great for me because I actually don’t want anything to do with a cigarette after general sterk. I like the flavor sometimes and sometimes I don’t enjoy it that much depending on mood and what flavor seems most pronounced. I do seem to go back to it alot at the moment.

I am returning to snus after backsliding on roll your own cigarettes for a number of years. The SHIP taxes make snus cheaper than rollups now. So the snus market is loaded with a lot of new products. Mostly high nicotine portions. My preference is for loose but there was none in the market with enough nicotine to get me off the cigs back then. Now there is!
I ordered a few rolls of strong portions and a roll of General Extra Sterk Los. The high nicotine loose snus is tasty and has just the kick and long lasting soothing effect that I need. Flavor is a personal thing and for me the General ES really hits the spot. It's more balanced in how it delivers nicotine than the hard hitting strong portions and doesn't get bitter at the end like so many cheaper brands do. You get what you pay for with General ES.
