I like this. I don't every mention portion material because I don't mind any manufacture's portion material, but I have to say this material has to be the softest I have come in contact with to date. Almost silky.

The taste is slightly sweet. I smell more berry than I taste and I get hints of some kind of herb, maybe Parsley or something. The Juniper Berry is there, just not as heavy as I had imagined it would be.

Over-all I really, really like this.

Any salt to it? I haven't tried that stuff yet but might have to add a can with my next order.

I used to taste the salt right off and now I don't notice it much at all.

It is more noticeable the longer it sits.

I recently tried some of this and really like it. I also get a hint of the juniper. Doesn't seem salty to me.

For me this one pales in comparison to GR #2. I much prefer the Lingonberry of the #2 to the Juniper of this one. Like said above, smells much more "fruity" than it tastes. Not much of an all day snus, IMHO. 3 stars.

My favorite snus. It is what got me started with snus, and what has since fueled my passion for this form of tobacco delivery. I remember the first time I tried snus... It was in T-Centralen in Stockholm, Sweden sometime in early August 2009... I was studying in Sweden (i'm from New Jersey) on exchange and met some Swedes who asked me if I'd like to try some.. I didn't know what it was, but it was great! I was immediately hooked! The subtle juniper berry taste combined with a slightly salty component makes it a winner in my book. It is the premier snus in my collection. Each vit portion can last an hour or two, still providing a great taste and nicotine delivery. The pouch it comes in, as stated by Christi, also provides a nice feeling between the gums and lip.

Great product! Try it if you can!
I loved it so much I purchased twenty packs before I came back to the states for $88 (a rip, but Swedish taxes are high).. Well worth it!

My favourite snus. I remember that Goteborg rape was most popular snus on my high school (in Slovenia).

I am revisiting this snus as of late, (due to Getsnus mystery can). I like it. I still prefer GR2, but GR1 ain't too shabby either. Goes very well a light beer.

this is definitely a wonderful snus. IMO not for chain-snussing because i think sooner or later (might be later) you will get tired of the taste.

But nevertheless a great snus to mix things up.

Love it

I just got a whole case in yesterday and tried it for the first time. Wow was I pleased. I have had many other white portions, but my personal favorite is the slow release and smooth flavor.

I am a fan and can't wait to check out more of what they (Goteborgs Rape) offer.
