I opened my first can of Goteborgs Prima Fint last night. Because of previous reviews and anecdotal testimony, curiosity got the best of me; I added one can to my previous order of snus. The can itself is a work of art -- the turquoise can and the simplicity makes it appear it belongs in a museum. I'm under assumption the can has undergone few makeovers since Swedish Match introduced round cans. The aroma is inviting and unlike any lossnus I have smelled. Instead of being hit with smokiness, Prima Fint is slightly sweet with notes of chocolate and pure, mild tobacco. Another unique aspect is the cut -- the tobacco is fine-grind, making it similar to Play-Doh. This makes pinching and baking the tobacco nearly effortless -- it would take a lot of determination to make an unsatisfactory prilla or pinch. Overall, this is a great, unique product. If you're tired of the fruitiness of Roda Lacket, I'd highly recommend trying this out, as I'm under the suspicion Prima Fint contains the same base tobacco.
5/5

Prima Fint was my first Los love; unfortunately, I burned myself out on it after ordering 30 cans. Also, I have a problem with most SM los products due to the high level of smoke flavoring. They cause pretty major throat irritations for me if I use them with any regularity.
That being said, I think Prima Fint is on the short list of the finest snuses available.

I just threw in my first pinch of this.
This snus is absolutely delightful. A sweet, subdued, fresh, green tobacco taste. There was a bit of excessive grassiness when it was on my tongue but that's quickly receded. If I had to explain it in terms of another snus, imagine Roda Lacket with no berries, figs or flowers. But this snus really is all its own. The fine soft grind suits its light taste and it is very comfortable in the lip. I want to say more, but tobacco is such a flavorful plant that I couldn't possibly describe the taste accurately. It makes me think of hot summers in Virginia outside on the porch.
I don't like to judge a snus on a first try. But Goteborg's Prima Fint will always have a place in my rotation.

To me Prima is the base tobacco of Roda
However, it is just too mild for me.....and every time one of these "we love Prima" threads pops up.....I end up being talked into throwing a can in to retry it.....and every time I get the distinct flavor of nothing mixed with other nothing on a Tuesday when nothing is happening.
That said.......I am in the minority here........Prima has an avid following and is worth giving a try.......If you try it and find you need the flavor amped up a bit....give Roda a whirl.......its Prima with a bit extraWhen it's my time to go, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my uncle did....... Not screaming in terror like his passengers

This is the easiest Lös to work with that I've had so far. I've had a prilla in for several hours without any mudslide and have fallen asleep with it before and woken up with it fully intact. Unfortunately the flavor just isn't there for me. It's far too subtle for my tastes. I'll try it again in the future but it's not a favorite right now

Both Ettan and Roda are extremely easy to work with as is General ES (which I like much more than regular General- which taste like putty to me)
