A good, mild, smooth and pure tobacco tasting snus. Makes a good every day and all day snus. Four words to describe the taste: leather, earth, smoke, and salt. Yummy good stuff. Highly recommended!
Stuff is so good. The nic hit is quite hard and quick. I got lightheaded for a minute but it passed quick (probably from lack of food). Nice earthyt taste with mild tobacco. I randomly decided to pick up a single can. I predict a test can of white portion with my next order. This could go one of two ways for me. It could be a regular snus to me like general white or it could turn on me after I get a full roll. I dunno if I feel adventurous or not.
Grov has been for me, for the last 4+ years my every day all day snus. In fact for several years it was pretty much all I ordered only occasionally interspersing it with General and Ettan and the random rolls of Grov Black, or Rape'.
Pure tobacco with a mild lemon zest. Bit of a peppery spice bite and salt.
One of these days I will write up a proper Grov review, but for now I will say that if there could only be one portion snus in my life it would be Grov original.
This snus is perfect for consistent use. The odor reminds me of pure tobacco with a slightly earthy character. The flavor I get from Grov is plain tobacco with a medium touch of salt. This snus is far superior to other brands on the market: General's citrus flavor gets old after a while; Ettan's chocolaty character turns on you; Granit's sweet undertone becomes sickening after a roll. For me, Grov's neutral flavor and great quality make it stand out as a snus you can depend on for life.
how is this and the white comparatively... also compared to Roda Lacket White portions?
I have never tried Grov White, since I don't use White Portion snus. From what I can guess, the flavor probably lasts a bit longer but is less pronounced compared to the Original Portion and Los.

You're pretty much dead on snusjus! The flavor in Grov White is a bit more subdued in the beginning but does last a bit longer, imo.
A little too harsh of a taste for me. That's about the only way to describe it. I love Ettan, but this... eh. Something about the kind of tobacco they're using. I don't like the taste.

This is exactly what I have been thinking here lately.
