A coarser grind, I can't get a pris to stay together for as long as say, Ettan. Good natural tobacco flavor, strong without being too strong. I prefer the portions, but I do keep a few cans of los around. If Ettan is a little weak tasting, try Grov. Good stuff.

      Grovs

I find grovs quite pleasant. I think it forms well, stays put. Great taste.

I find it moist but not to much. It holds together quite well and has that pure tobacco taste that i've come to love. its simply one of the best imo

Just a run-of-the-mill Tobacco tasting los that packs well and stays put.

With other brands/flavor out there, I wouldn't spend my money of this unless, it's all I could get. Still, that would be a blessing if that were true.

Grov quickly became my favorite OP, so I picked up a can of lös for kicks. The flavor is the same deliciously potent tobacco taste I grew to love. There's not much else to say in that respect.

As for usability, it seems I disagree with just about everyone on the planet. This is the one lös I can't seem to keep together. Baking a pris takes forever because it immediately breaks up and flakes off under any pressure, and I can expect a mudslide in, at most, 15 minutes. Meanwhile, I can keep prilla of any other brand together for at least an hour before having to wick away stray bits.

Wonder if it's the coarser grind that makes it harder for me somehow. I also wonder if I'm just doing it wrong. In any case, I'll stick to the original portions on this one.

Grov Los is one of my favorite brands of snus (along with the Original Portions). The flavor is simply tobacco with smoke flavor and a hint of leather, which combines to rival all other pure-flavored brands. The greatest aspect of Grov Los is the coarse-grind consistency. When the can is first opened, all the snus is stuck together in one piece, similar to the shape of the can. The grind makes it very easy to bake prillas and makes hillbilly pinches nearly effortless. My only complaint is the amount of nicotine in each pinch. Hopefully Swedish Match will launch an Extra Sterk version of Grov.

                5/5

It seems in so many cases that if there was no label on a can of loose it would be bloody hard to tell what brand of portion is its "companion".

Yeah, I wouldn't say I hate it, but I gave it a try after hearing so much about it and I ended up putting the can back in the freezer after 3-4 prilla's. Not sure why, this snus just doesn't do anything for me.

I hate Grov. Too much smoke flavor gives me heartburn bad.

The grind is nice and the flavor is ok...the smoke just kills me.

This stuff is AWESOME! A strong, salty, dark and pure tobacco taste with a perfect grind that stays together perfectly under the lip. Great kick as well. Love it. Tastes a bit different from the portions in my opinion.

Ok so after some time I decided to retry certain snus brands I originally hated and give them a second look, plus a few others I never tried.

Back when I was getting into Los I tried all the staples, General, Ettan, Skruf, and a few others by V2.

When I first tried this I just did not see the big fuss. It was nowhere near as good as Ettan and I didnt taste the salty tobacco goodness everyone else mentioned.

Well after trying a few prillas I must say.... my opinion hasnt changed. It tastes like Ettan with dill pickles thrown in.

I think the smoke flavoring mixed with the salt and such is the main reason I do not like this and get that pickle flavoring.

Now I will remember not to buy again,
