Grov is a fantastic los. Best way to describe it.. Rough; Yet Smooth, Creamy, and Smokey.

Ok. It’s a nice Sunday, the breeze is breezing, the sun is sunning and I just grabbed a fresh tin of Grov out of the fridge. 13 years later, let’s see if it is really that bad.

The tin is brown/gold and understated. Grov is an autumn, and classy. The grind is great. I like a coarse grind and it punches and bakes well. The smell is smoky and floral, I like where this is going…but that’s a lot of smoke.

The flavor is awesome. Floral with leather and dark chocolate, and smoke. Oh god not more smoke. I lasted less than two minutes (on trend 😉) with this snus before my throat was on fire. It was bad, almost as smoky as Odens. I wish I could stick it out, I really wanna see where this snus goes and how it develops.

I love everything about this snus except that darned smoke irritation. I’d love an “unsmoked” Grov los, but that’s a lot to ask. RL and GR have smoke added, but not enough to hurt me. It’s the higher concentrations that hurt me.

If you love Grov, try Odens los. If you love Copenhagen snuff, definitely try Grov. It is exceptionally done, at least for the first two minutes.

I love Grov, but it doesn’t love me back…that’s what I say about all my classy autumns.
