Good stuff. Tastes like lemon pepper tobacco. Good nicotine bite but nothing over the top. Very lemony. I keep it around.

I flew through my first can of it. Very good. Above poster is spot on with taste.

        Onyx is good.
It has the strongest "citrus" flavor notes of all the General family snus.
Personally, I don't really like the velvety feel of the portion material.
Its a snus that I enjoy visiting occasionally, but not a regular.

          I love General Onyx.

It's stronger, darker and more citrussy than the regular General, but has a similar flavour profile, but "boosted".

Tastes like roasted salted lemon with strong smoky tobacco.

I do find the bag material to be a bit rough at first compared to regular portions.

It lasts a good two hours and keep on giving!

One of my favourites. The can is pretty cool too, and so is the tube that rolls come in!

My experiences (and my friends' experiences) with this snus are unique to Onyx.

Upon first trying Onyx, the only thing I could taste was Pepper. Pepper for the can.

Some months later, I decided to give it a try again. Now the only thing I taste is lemon. No pepper what so ever. Odd isn't it?

I agree with another reviewer that the velvety portion material, while kinda cool to look at, fails in actual use. Maybe it's the portion material, maybe not, but these suckers liked sliding around on me a lot. Moreso than any other portion I've had.

Very good choice here. "Lemon Pepper snus" was about the best description that could ever be given for its flavor. Most General products are quite citrusy, but this one is flat out LEMONY. Great snus with a good kick to it. Like Thunder, should not be chain-snused, or youll really build up a strong nicotine dependance/tolerance. Definately recomended. 5 stars.

a recomendation of my side as well.

a strong (not too strong though for a former smoker like me) snus with a nice lemony touch but couldn't find the pepper yet but that could also be me as a newbie to snus.

But so far definitly my favorite.

I have tried two cans of General Onyx in my life and don't plan on trying it ever again. The odor is masked with a sharp odor of lemon; no tobacco is present. For some reason, Onyx burns the hell out of my lip, even more so than General Ekstra Sterk. It's probably due to the black portion material. My review is biased though, since I don't enjoy white portions.

Onyx is one of my staple snuses. I find it to have a pleasant nic kick and tastes of lemon cream pie with a little pepper thrown in.

This was the 3rd snus I tried, and try as I might I can't seem to get away from it. I have tried another 15 types since. I absolutely love everything about it. I have always loved black pepper, and this tastes just like a fresh lemon pepper when you pop it in. Its refreshing and has a nice nic hit too without being overpowering. These also last longer than anything else for me as well. So while I may have to spend more per can, it evens out in the fact that I use less portions per day. Of all the portion snus I have tried this is hands down my favorite.

It's ok, but I wish I had a Gesp in instead.
