General Wintergreen

Not sure how this one taste as I can get over the smell of it enough to stick a portion in my mouth. If Crest made snus this would be it!

Very strong wintergreen flavor, almost to the point of making my lip burn. The flavor is similar to Wintergreen Lifesavers, but perhaps a bit more sweet. The sweetness takes a bit of getting used to, especially compared to some of the peppery flavors, but it has worked it's way into my favorite flavors.

Definitely NOT one of my favs. I can tolerate it, and if GW was all I had I would use it way before I would use Camel Frost. I'm just not crazy about Wintergreen. For a flavored snus like that, I much prefer mint like
Thunder Frosted etc.

I like most of the Generals but I can't do the Wintergreen - burns the heck out of my gums and lips.

General Wintergreen is my go-to snus. When I was a smoker, I smoked menthols, maybe that's why I like wintergreen. I think it has a good balance of minty and tobacco flavor. In my opinion, its not too sweet....too sweet, to me, would be General Mini Mint, Discreet, or Camel.

Wintergreen is starting to turn on me. I just had one and realized that each time I try one, I like it less and and less.

It's okay. I'll go through a can, wait a month or so, and go through another. I will probably never buy another can of it, but Getsnus likes to send them as a free can, so it works out.

I just tried one that I got out of the exchange and its not that bad. I think I remember snuson generally hating it but I don't mind it any more then I mind other wintergreen/mint snus. I don't like snus to remind me of dip so I would never buy it.

Probably the sweetest tasting General product IMO. Sweeter then the mini mint from my memory. The lifesaver comparison is dead on.

I kinda like the burn. But, no reason anyone should be afraid to try it if you like wintergreen.

I like it as a change up, or as a dessert snus.

the thing that kills me on these is the portion are prone to break.
I've only had 3 that DIDN'T break and they were from the General Sampler foil pack.

some have said it's the mint oil that breaks down the portion material, but you'd think they could figure it out...seem to be alot of other "mint" flavors out there, but these are the only ones (i know of) that have this issue.

Its really a definate love it or hate it snus.

For me, its THE single greatest snus ever created. Like crack in a can. My go-to all day everyday snus. The only one I use anywhere near as much as this is Thunder frosted. You really must try this snus, before getting discouraged by all the haters around here. There are some folks who think that their choice of snus is the definitive best there is, but everyone has different tastes, so order a can and decide for yourself! 5 Stars!! And then 5 more!

I was reluctant to try this and for some reason confused wintergreen with spearmint and forgot it's just the flavor of the plant. And apparently I never realized until now that pepto bismol was wintergreen flavor, which I loved as a kid.

Despite all the bad reviews this got I really liked it, will be ordering a can soon. I noticed less lip burn on this than I do mini mint, I guess everybody is different.
