Changed my mind, this stuff's nasty. I'm all out of my traditional flavored snus and have had nothing but this for a day and a half. I like the salt and the mint but they must do something about that artificial sweetener. It's given me a horrible catch in my throat and a nasty cough and if it starts dripping it's like a warm glass of sugar-free peppermint gum saliva-juice. I hope my shipment arrives tomorrow and thank goodness I've a stash of lovely pipe tobacco and snuff.
General Mint (White/Large)

I purchased a can of General Mint from the gas station today, since I haven't tried it before. The tobacco smells of pure mint with subtle hints of tobacco in the background. Compared to the now defunct Triumph Mint, General Mint smells much better; there are no hints of sweetness or ammonia. The mint flavor is subtle and can't even be tasted! In my opinion, the menthol just numbs the gum line to give snus users a "menthol" experience without the flavor permeating through one's mouth. The nicotine strength is comparable to other Swedish Match white portion varieties. In my opinion, this is the best mint-flavored snus on the market. I was surprised I enjoyed this snus, since I generally despise mint flavored tobacco.

Not a fan of this one at all. It isn't terrible and I kind of enjoy it if I space the portions out with something else, but I wouldn't order it again. There is way too much sweetener in it for my taste, which seems to be the theme with snus made for the N. American market (I find all of the new Jaks snus way too sweet too). I'll stick to Thunder Frosted for my mint fix!

I must say this one is growing on me...the menthol burn goes away fairly quickly for me leaving a dull touch in my gum reminding me it is still there for an hour or so.
The "mint" actually tastes like mint components and not as much "peppermint" which for most Americans is just a sweetened menthol profile like in Life Savers, Altoids, etc.
The notes underneath remind me of non-rectified mint oils with a slight green taste and some almost sulfur character. If I leave it in too long though it starts to sour a bit as some of the lighter components are gone leaving some of the heavier compounds which aren't quite as pleasant.
Amazing how the palate reacts after not smoking since this morningMan this is fun!

Picked up a can in a tobacco shop for sheer novelty. Its merely OK. Personally every mint snus I've tried gets one or two portions taken and the balance expired and destined to the dustbin.
If you like mint flavor this is probably for you. Its general quality so the product is good, I apparently don't like mint.

I really like this snus. It is one of my first ones (since I can get it in a b&m). I really like to use this one at either bedtime (and forget to take it out) or as a nice break from the General WP/Loose I use on a regualr basis.
The mint flavor lasts a long time, and if you can get it to not sog out, you will notice the flavor long after you have taken it out.

I have mixed feelings about this snus. At first I really liked it. Then I discovered Jak's Mint which is my current main squeeze. I buy this now, as I can get it locally, when I am waiting for an online order to arrive. It's a high quality snus, for sure. It is too sweet for regular use, IMO. I will probably pick up a can from timw to time but nothing regular.

This was my first can/tin I had purchased of Snus. I hated Menthol and flavored cigarettes and while I am trying to quit that habit and go with a harm reduction method (which is working really good) this is a good tin. I find that in the beginning it gives a nice blast of flavor and it smooths out and gives a nice mint blast for a long time. I do find it gives me a bit of a drip(slight) because I end up trying to get all the flavor out of it (can't help it). Good stuff, and this will probably me my goto for going out and driving in the car. I'll definitely be picking up more of this flavor.
